Can i have more info about this? Cuz i honestly would have a problem with a program that you're forced to join. So if someone could come clear how this law would apply, then please do so...
I don't know much about this, I like to stay out of the loop when it comes to news, but this I'm curious about.
The Texas GOP is advocating cure therapy for those "who seek to leave the homosexual lifestyle" in their new platform. It isn't forced, but it still obviously sends the message that the GOP Establishment does not care about gay people at all.
No, it's a general platform from my knowledge. They support as a Republican party reparative therapy, which is absurd.
Ugh, dude it's things like this that make me dislike Republicans. Did you hear about that Duck Dynasty dude, doing that speech or whatever? And how Sarah Palin said he would be like a great president. Yeah, let's go racist, homophobic, pedophiliac America! Woooo!
At least it's only their platform. I was saddened by the Senate primary race. I would have much preferred Lt. Gov Dewhurst as Senator. Unfortunately, the election of Cruz was a harbinger of things to come.
Wendy Davis has a chance to be your next Governor. Get her in and don't let Abbot win and you should be good.
As a Republican it saddens me to see so many of my compadres spouting this sort of drivel. It originates entirely from the evangelical Christian branch of the party. Texas for some reason seems to be Ground Zero for it.
If its forced then there is something SERIOUSLY wrong. :tantrum: Also this topic reminds me of a movie calld But I'm A Cheerleader (!) where the girl is forced by her parents to go to a lesbian camp that trains her and other gays/lesbians to be straight. It's a really good movie!!
And my whole family is voting against her. I can't believe this. I wonder what mayor Parker is doing about all of this. Can't they see we just want to be happy?
