Anyone on here a drum major or has been a drum major? I'm trying out (which is tomorrow) for my high school band and was wondering if any of you had any pointers. I still haven't come up with "my own original salute" because my Internet isn't good enough to watch videos. Of course I really want it, but it won't be the end of the world if I don't get it. I mean, I will be section leader. First chair flute, woo (I work REALLY hard)! Anyhoo, yeah. Just looking for some pointers.
