Any other authors and/or poets out there?

Not that big on writing books..but I do love to write poetry

 

I have story ideas, but I'm too visual to be a writer. I'd imagine my characters being in comic books, TV shows, or video games.

 

Yeah, I'm a writer. Got a fantasy novel in the works.

 

I write certain short stories that should not be published.

 

I write mainly fanfiction which I enjoy a lot. Sometimes also original short stories.

 

When I was about 14 I got very bored one summer and wrote three longish stories (About 90 pages each with TNR size 12 lettering)

But since then I've been getting amazing book ideas but I can't seem to write them out

 

I've written several short stories for online audiences, and I've done a lot of research in preparation for self-publishing and self-promoting an e-novella this fall.

I write poetry and some occasional music(not chords, just lyrics). I had a poem for Mother's Day.

 

Recently stories have been coming to me, and as soon as I start getting them, I run for the pen and paper to collect them. I have two short poetic stories from this.

 

I'm a writer too! But hey, I'd like to ask you all: when do you feel most inspired?

 

When my attention is required elsewhere. Such as during exams, boring conversations, times when I have no paper or laptop, when I need to sleep, when I'm supposed to be studying, that sort of thing.

 

I write fanfiction. I have two stories up on fanfiction.net, four new chaptered stories that will be up within next month, and a few oneshots. And i wonder where my life went .-.

 

I'm a writer, but I've had writer's block for a long time, ever since I got depression. Still trying to break through the writer's block to actually work on writing again.

 

Another writer here. I'm currently writing fanfic, one story of mine is up on fanfiction.net and is in desperate need of updates. I kinda have something of a portfolio... One of my original fiction pieces has been shown off in a writing fair, I've written a collection of poetry for one of my English classes, and I've also written a full-length play for a Drama class.

I don't really do poetry anymore, though. I have another multi-chapter fanfic down the line and I'm trying to motivate myself to start writing some more original fiction so my fictionpress profile doesn't look so empty.

 

I'm a writer. Write content for a site now. Have been working on my first novel, loosely based on my life, the past four or so years. Also write sort stories. Prefer to read nonfiction, specifically books on the natural sciences.

 

Yes! I write really strange prose and poetry, with some very disturbing fanfictions mixed in. :icon_bigg

 

Yeah, I'm an aspiring author. No time and scarce motivation though, so it's really just a nominal description. All I'm good at is making nice forum posts because that's what I do most.

Occasionally while out and about I'll get flashes of inspiration as to how to describe a particular scene. That's how I fancy myself a writer really, because whether I like it or not, I end up artistically putting life into words. That's got to be worth something.
