Okay so I'm having a problem with a guy at the moment and I think this poll will help me understand a bit more, so please answer honestly This poll is aimed at gay guys, bisexual guys, lesbian girls and bisexual girls who had their first kiss at a teenage disco. So if you knew you were gay at the time, was your first kiss with a guy because you were attracted to them, and didn't care what people thought, or was it with a girl because you wanted your peers to think you were straight? Same with if you're a lesbian. If you're bisexual did you kiss the opposite sex only, because it was easier, or did you experiment? And finally, was your first kiss with the same sex in secret? I know all possible options aren't listed here, but that would take an age So I guess this only applies to those who fit the categories :newcolor:
My first kiss was with a girl, but not because I was trying to convince anyone I was straight. I was drunk and she seemed really into me, so I thought "what the hell, might as well try it". And my first kiss with a guy wasn't a secret. It was during truth or dare, and someone dared me and one of my friends to kiss lol
My first kiss was with a girl at a house party when I was 15. I was slightly tipsy and so was she and it seemed like a good idea at the time. Even though I disliked it very much! My first kiss with a guy however was very much in secret. I was 18, I wasn't out and I wasn't ready for any sort of relationship. Suffice to say I didn't enjoy that much either.
Kissing girls used to be my mission on nights out, partly to convince others but mostly myself that I was straight. Didn't work!
Bisexual, opposite sex. Not because it was easier, but because I felt strongly for a person who happened to be female. Granted it probably was easier this way, but that was not part of the thought process.
Is teenage disco some type of youth slang I'm not hip onto, I feel stupider First and only kiss was an intoxicated "teaching" one with same gender to try and make me less scared of intimacy. I don't know if it helped, rest in peace!!!
Hey! Another Irish person! *High five* Plus I think discos kind of only exist in Ireland? We had french exchange students over and they could not BEGIN to understand that we went out to discos! :L Yeah my first kiss was a guy, mainly because he asked and my friends were super insistent, so I just "what the heck" and went for it. That said, I think a part of me was thinking "Ah great, yes, kissing a guy, this is good cover"
well it was my bff and we were fooling around in class it didn't last like a kiss would and he didnt even try to kiss back and our eyes were open so it was just that we both wanted to know what its like of course i pretended i was disgusted as soon as he did thank god people in class didn't pay it attention they were so busy anyway the teacher was late and everybody was having fun and jumping on tables but i don't have feelings for him anymore he is like my brother now (*hug*)
Actually I'm pretty much the same. hehe Not sure how to answer the poll, since you use sex instead of gender, but my first kiss was with a girl! ^_^
