How much money would you have to be payed to be a prostitute?

I was watching a show where someone was offered 20 million dollars to be a prostitute :eek: . I consider myself to be someone who wouldn't be a prostitute, but if one night of any non-murder work would give me that much money, I'd be lying if I said I wouldn't do it. I decided to try to quantify how much would be the least I'd accept to be a prostitute, assuming that I didn't like the person or know them. I thought it would probably be around 30-40 thousand dollars. If it saved me entire year of work and I could buy a nice car and a new spinning wheel with it and still have plenty left over, that would be enough. I know nobody out there is going to pay me that much, so it's just hypothetical. How much would you need to be payed? Just one night, one time. Would the rate be different if they where of a gender you don't like? Either way you aren't attracted to them.

 

Probably about £100. I don't have a moral problem with buying sex, I don't put a particularly high emotional importance on sex, and I'm hard on cash. But I'd say more if it got me more money.

I like all genders, so the second question doesn't apply to me.

Depends on the current circumstances along with the means available to protect oneself.

 

If I was physically attracted to the person, then I wouldn't ask for much - because it would be a pleasure anyway. If I wasn't attracted to them, I would have to draw the line somewhere. I think Hexagon has the right idea - £100 seems fine for one night.

I would have no problem doing it. I would have sex with a woman for money as well, but that wouldn't be so enjoyable for me.

 

Dammit when I made this thread I wanted to include a poll, but my internet went out… If a mod could add one in with a few options between having sex for free with anyone and having no price, that would be nice.

I wouldn't accept it, no matter how much money is involved. Having sex with someone I don't love would feel like rape.

Although I have no pride whatsoever, I agree with this. I don't want my body to be someone's cheap play-thing.

 

It would have to be fairly high for me, around 50-100k at the least, and that's assuming protection is involved. My pride is important, but where I am right now, not as important as financial security in the short term.

I wouldn't be a prostitute, but to put an accurate market value on what it should be, I would go to the capitol in Washington DC, and ask a few Republican congressmen what their going rate for lobbyists is.

But although I'm quite prudish, I think if we are talking megabucks and purely hypothetically I'd say why the hell not! Afterall I already have shit days at the office where my body and mind is abused (and for minimal pay), so what is half an hour of sex for a lifetimes pay?
