And would that change based on whether or not they wanted/could afford an operation? I'm mostly interested in answers from people who can be attracted to men in general, but I put up other options just in case.

Yes, I would date a trans man. No, I don't mind about their operative status.

And just in case anyone was wondering, I personally would, and I don't particularly care what parts they have. I hope that they would, but they don't like men usually that they will make a post explaining it a bit.

No, because I'm attracted to WOMAN, and transmen are MEN.

I'm not attracted to men, but I felt the need to say that since A TON of lesbians date transmen just because they're biologically female...

I'm attracted to men, so I see no reason why I wouldn't. If he's my type and stuff

    Considering I'm a lesbian....no.
Like belle said, it also bothers me how so many lesbians will date trans men but not trans women. Makes no sense. However, if I were straight or a gay man, I would date one.

I'm taken, so nope. But if I weren't, yes. Definitely! Also wouldn't care about their op status.

I would definitely date another transman. Op status doesn't matter to me.

I'd date anyone cis or trans male or female.

I just don't care or conform to who is what anymore as long as they are a good person if like to spend time with.

Sure why not? All depends if they are an enjoyable person to be around.

Honestly, I don't think I would. I have NO issue, none whatsoever, with trans/cis people. I'm all for becoming the person you feel you are on the inside; I think it's an inspiring message for others who feel similarly. But as a bisexual who likes both sexes, I kind of want my men to have man parts and my women to have female parts. You'd think being a bisexual, a pre-op trans man wouldn't be an issue for me, and maybe it shouldn't be. And maybe it has something to do with society's emphasis on the gender binary. In any case, I just don't think I could personally.

But I won't say never, because you never know. Like maybe a passable post-op. Or maybe after exposure to someone going through that process it would seem more normal and appealing to me sexually/romantically, but that's just what I think at this point.

I would, to hell with op status. I am taken at the moment, though. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes: And to answer for my boyfriend (gee, it's kinda weird and surreal to say that), he's bisexual himself but has a preference for men and that carries over into a preference for trans men. So hopefully if this works out, he's gonna get to see me go through transition, which both of us are really excited about. And he's probably the first guy I've ever met who didn't care I haven't had top done.
