Just a little poll, related to the other queer topics we've had.

I'm not sure what it means to be "queer", but I know that in "gay".

Anyway, if my position isn't already known, I am queer. I am not ashamed, and I won't judge myself or others by heteronormative standards. Yes, Queer once meant odd. And I'm alright with that.

In the most endearing and nonconfrontational sense possible: I'm a fucking queer.

I consider the term queer the least of all evils (still have problems with it though), but I typically only use it in a collective sense.

With myself, I prefer just to be called...well, myself.

I simply say I'm "gay." That said, I will also use "LGBT" because many people know what it means. I just can't see myself referring to myself as "queer."

Isn't the point of saying "LGBT" that it incorporates most everybody? I'm not partial to it or "queer" but the two mean almost the same thing as I see it.

Bisexual when referring to my orientation and LGBT+ when referring to the group.

Yeah that's how I use queer.

I would of liked to check all of them, but picked LGBT.

I consider myself to be Queer, LGBT, and most importantly "Darcy"

Although as a group I consider us all generally "queer" in a broad sense, I'm gay and have a solidly masculine gender identity. I put myself as LGBT because I don't feel that I qualify as queer as an individual. Gay men used to be called queer, but I've attached a different meaning to it.

I'm not against the word, though, and I tend to use it to describe us as a community.
