Failure. Not general, every day failures like a bad grade or something, but failure in achieving my life goals.

The dark. One time my friend came into the bathroom while I was washing my hands and she turned the lights off. I screamed like you have never heard before. Mirrors make me uncomfortable, and then she added the dark. Anyhoo...call me a pansy, but I even have a nightlight. To make it worse, it was a purple unicorn until the plastic started to melt from years of use. Now it's the Eiffel Tower.

I may not be afraid of the dark, but I can't sleep without a fairly bright light on. I'm used to the city lights shining through my window with a purple glow. With darkness, I can't sleep at all.

Death by being eaten by a bear or being tortured by a violent psychopath, are tied up there on the list for #1.
