Just wondering what everyone thinks about this look and whether or not you'd wear it. I personally like it a lot. I don't know why I gravitate towards these looks that are usually perpetuated by hipsters, but I really like hats.

I don't love the look of the particular beanie you're describing, a "slouchy" beanie (normal ones when the person has long hair - especially a guy - is a different story). That doesn't mean I'd be so judgmental as to call them "ridiculous." Ambivalent, more like.

I love them to tiny pieces  unfortunately, I don't think they would probably look good on me.

Not only that, but this time of year, it would be complete silliness to wear them because it is extremely hot and humid. Inside though they are irresistibly cute.

Combining it with a tank top like in the pic, I would not be able to take my eyes off of him lol. Or her if it's a girl. It's a versatile look.

I chose I can't pull it off, but it looks good on other people because for me it's better a jacket hood, like Ezio from Assassin' Creed :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

I don't care either way. The only time I'd wear a hat is when I'm playing TF2.

I don't care for them, on myself or others. Some can pull them off better as part of their look, but even so I still don't care for them. I find that it's just too much of a trend, and these days it's a little passé. Plus, it doesn't look very polished or professional. I understand that's not the point of this look, but still... not my thing.

Understandable. It's pretty overused anymore. As for professionalism, it's truly not for everyone, especially those who want to work white collar jobs. I guess what I'm doing is dressing for the job I want, which is a self-employed professional artist. That's not working out too well so far, but I'd rather work a minimum wage job that indirectly provides me with inspiration and leaves me time to create art than work a high-paying job where all my time is consumed with mind-numbing paperwork.

True, it's not for everyone. This is what I like! I like it when a lot of people with different opinions convene and share their reasoning. I appreciate your response.

Yes, fedoras! Been meaning to get myself one of those, too!

we call bonnets beanies here, lol and as for your question i would wear it myself but i usually wear one during the winter.

  14. omg I love slouchy beanies. I can't explain it because normally I don't care about what's 'in style' or hats in general...but I just love those slouchy ridiculous hats. I think anyone who can pull one off gets ten hottie points just for doing so.

And when I buzz my hair off in a couple months I'm investing in one for myself in case my head gets cold here in good ol' WI.

Yes yes yes. It's so sexy when a girl can pull off a beanie or snapback. I wear beanies, but I look absolutely ridiculous in a snapback haha.

Some people can pull it off but I'm one of those that can't. I just don't look good in beanies. I'd probably only wear one if it were ever practical like when hiking up a mountain on a cold and windy day and where aesthetics don't matter.

I prefer the ones that are between slouchy-fit and the regular-fit. I like them to be loose but, to also have some type of structure. There are some types of people who are able to pull off this look, and I am definitely not one of those people!

I love berets. They seem to go with just about everything.

I look ridiculous with any kind of hat, but a beanie can look great on others.
