As many of you know, I'm a huge political junkie and huge Hillary Clinton supporter. After watching her speech tonight at the Democratic National Convention, I realized that there needs to be party unity and thus I will be voting for the Obama/Biden ticket in November. I guess it took her 15 min long speech for me to open up my mind a little and think. So yeah, I'm going blue in November. Lol.

I KNEW you would come around!

Hilary was GREAT tonight. Wonderful speech, and I think it will go a long ways in re-uniting the party. After that, I'm much more confident that Obama will win in November.

And honestly, she is starting to grow on me. If she runs again in 2016, I'd being willing to support her(something I wouldn't have been able to say a few months back)....

Well.. I also have something to announce. After really sitting down and listening to Obama and Hillary (I tuned into some of the convention), I realized that I was just spewing back ideals and republican jargon that had been instilled upon me since I was a kid. I see now how crazy, if not stupid, it really is for me to vote for McCain. I talked with my parents the other day and they asked me who I would vote for. That took me aback and I responded McCain, they then said they wish Obama hadn't picked Biden because they were seriously considering him. My parents? I thought they were conservatives that only stuck to that. Hearing my parents broadening their views lead me to watching the speeches. Powerful. Masterful. And have made me a believer. I'm voting Obama. Can't believe I actually was backing McCain.
