Are you a dreamer or a doer?

I'm probably a dreamer.... lol I procrastinate a lot.

 

Definitely a dreamer. Definitely.

 

Both? I long for change, but it won't happen unless I act.

I'm a planner and a dreamer. I make realistic plans but I never act on them.

 

Both, though I think most people are a bit of both.

I am definitely a dreamer in that I often can be caught daydreaming about an ideal world and what that would look like... I do procrastinate some things and I spend a lot of time pondering to myself.

But I'm not satisfied to sit around and just think about it. I'm also a planner by nature, I try and figure out what steps forward I can take at any time.

The way I see it is that it's best to be as much of both as you can manage. Doing without taking the time to really think about it or without having dreams or goals doesn't work out well and dreaming about what could be but never acting or moving forward is just as bad.

More of a dreamer, when I actually make a plan I do it but mostly I just daydream about things.

 

I am a dreamer, though I wish I was more of a doer. Honestly, I'm a dreamer because there are so many different ways of doing something (and so many ways you can fail) that my brain can't process all of those permutations. For me, too many choices lead to inaction.

 

Both? I'm one of those people who will get so excited about their own plans that they'll go out and make it happen that day.

Depending on circumstances I may do any or all of these things, sometimes in series, sometimes simultaneously. I routinely drive very hard to get things done while simultaneously focusing a portion of my attention on thinking about things I want or engaging in exercises of the imagination. I routinely take charge and make things happen, but also procrastinate more than I like on some matters.

I'm a dreamer, but lately, I've been trying to get more motivated and more inspired by using programs, notes, self-encouragement, and so on.

Is it working? Maybe. Who knows.

 

I dream a lot, and only some of those dreams become reality. I guess I'm an experimenter. I tend to start many projects and only see a few through to completion, so it's a shame to see things like a half-finished novel shelved because I decided I didn't like it that much, anyway.

 

im a dreamer but when something needs to be done i roll up my sleeves and get to it. if i need a help i do ask when i've exhausted all avenues that i can do for my self.

 

I guess I would say doer if for no other reason than I'm just not much of a dreamer. I remember having a conversation with my sister about her dream home when I was younger and she told me all about it and then asked me what mine would be like and I was basically like I don't know who my partner would be and where I would live and presumably I wouldn't have this dream home for another 15 or 20 years and who knows who I would be at that point... She totally didn't get it and was like, no don't be practical, just what would you want... and I was like what I would want would depend on all those things. She absolutely did not get my point of view and I didn't understand hers. I am, I suppose, eminently practical--so I suppose... doer.
