What do genderqueer parents have their kids call them?

Today I was envisioning my perfect life and I hit a snag. If I'm not the kids mom or dad, then what the hell am I? I'd probably adopt, but if I was the biological parent, then I think that would make me the father. Otherwise should I have them call me parental unit? "Parental unit, please sing me a song before I go to bed". That doesn't seem right. Is there any pre-established name for a genderqueer parent? And what if my partner is genderqueer?

There's always... well, parent, and you can call your spouse... a spouse. Or a partner.

Some kids call their parents by their name, too, so that's another choice.

This list has a lot. Maybe you can look at them?

That's an interesting list. I never wondered about that, and I'm not sure why. I like Baba the best.

I already call my father 'baba,' so I view it more as a masculine title. :x

I kind of like Zaza or Per. They all sound a bit ridiculous, but I'm sure I'd get used to them, and I don't see any other things to call myself.

Before Jennifer Finney Boylan, a trans* novelist, had made the full transition from male to female, she had her kids called her "Maddy" - a contraction of "Mommy" and "Daddy".

This is a neat idea, you could always mixup the typical titles for parents and make something for yourself. Or you could even make a nickname for your potential child(dren) to call you.
