"You're gay? So does that mean you like...."

There are a handful of people online who asked me this silly question:

"You're gay? but you don't look like one?" Oh sorry I forgot to wear my make-up.

 

"You're bi - ever done a threesome?"

Honestly? :bang:

 

The stupidest one I got was off a very ignorant "friend"...

"so now you're gay, do you use the mens or women's bathrooms?"

I mean, whattttttttttt?!! That doesn't even make sense!

 

I haven't come out to many people, but I get the "you're so damn gay" vibe/impression from MANY people! Even family... Some of them even drop hints of their suspicion of me.

Here's a funny one though. After coming out to my mom, she asked me "so you want to paint your nails and stuff?" I replied "yeah mom, and it want to wear a dress and all too!"

 

I came out to my friend and a couple of weeks later she asked me "so... have you ever tried to hit on me and I didn't realise it?"

 

Do you... like have a crush on me?

 

Oh my goodness. I can't believe people would even think these things LOL

 

"You're trans, when are you gonna get The Surgery?" >.<

 

I've had questions ranging from silly to offensive. I'll spare you the more offensive ones, which usually come from straight men who assume all gay men bottom. Here's a very stupid one that demostrates that point... do you struggle to walk after you've had sex?

 

When I first started coming out I found that people suddenly wanted and would trust my "fashion advice" (which I thought was the funniest thing ever, because I'm the last person on Earth that you should go to for "fashion advice").

Combine this with my extremely dry sarcasm, and I was able to thoroughly confuse people as to what I thought they looked like. And got them to seriously question what they were wearing, to the point where they would consider returning certain items of clothing.

Seriously, it took 'em several months to realize I was pulling their legs. :lol:

 

The proper response to that one is "No, but the other guy sure does. BOOM!":roflmao:

 

"How does scissoring work?"
"Can I watch?"
"Lesbian sex isn't real sex."
"So you like threesomes?"
Some people seem to forget that bisexuals have feelings for both genders rather than just sexual attraction. I'm only 14 do they honestly think I've had sex yet?

 

"Why do you want to be a man if you like men?"
I obviously want to be gay because it's obviously a choice I can make.

"But you don't act like a man."
Because you can obviously 'act like a man'.

"Do you still have a vagina?"
No. I obviously have a ninety inch penis.

"So you're gay? Why don't you try a girl?"
I'm not even going to reply to this one.

 

"You're gay, so does that mean you want to sleep with every guy you see?"
"How do you guys have sex?"
"Is it just a phase?"

To this I always respond with, "You know, statistics actually show that for every 5 people that think about it, there are 0 lesbians who actually do it."

 

You're all so lucky! I haven't yet had a single stupid question asked of me!

(hint: I am beginning to think it is the happy occurrence that people generally don't care )

 

Your a.lesbian but your so pretty and act girly, are you sure your a lesbian?, you should just sleep with men to make sure, why write off men give them chance , I'm sure if you keep trying you'll find a man that satisfies your sexual needs.

Oh my gawd, Karen, you can't just ask people why they're feminine.
It's funny how I get this sometimes, even though I'm not that femme. Only when I'm in a dress or skirt am I femme.
