Got terrible news today

    So my mom shocked me by showing up at my house today she flew in from Toronto. She told me my grandma may only have a month to live the cancer was advanced cancer even after the surgery she had :'(

    I was there about 3 weeks ago. But it got worse after I left :frowning2: so I need to go back but she doesn't want anyone around her...

    You know.. First time I saw my grandma was the last... She had cancer too.. And my mum thought it would be great to take me and my twin to see her while she was dying... No.. just no.

    I'm very sorry to hear that the operation wasn't successful and things have advanced.

    In circumstances like these it's always difficult to find any words of hope or meaning - just know that we are here for you if you need to vent. Sometimes having a place where you can let it all out makes a little difference.

    I'm so sorry. Try to be strong. I know what it's like to get a call saying that a loved one far away is close to dying. I didn't get to say goodbye to my great grandma. At least you have a little while to get down there. You are doing the right thing by seeing her though(*hug*)
