Then what do you do to feel better?
I have lots of things to do. When everytime I feel blue, I listen to music, no, not necessary upbeat, but the song I love the most.
Playing videos games will distract me from what I feel momentarily
Watch is movie is good too, but I won't watch scary movies because I usually stay home alone at night!
Taking a bath refresh my mind. Everytime I get out the bathtub, I feel like a new person

I usually call my best friend and talk to him...it's funny cause he's sorta a stress relief for me

What don't I do? Take a train. I don't think there's anything worse than sitting by yourself on a train for an hour when you've had a horrible day.

I usually play sports when I had a bad day...they keep my mind from all the thought but what I'm doing so I guess that's what I usually do.

If I have some money I go to shopping and satisfy myself...though this is not good because whenever I do this my wallet will be empty:eusa_doh:

  5. I usually go to sleep. Its exhausting being upset!

Sometimes I brood in it, sometimes I write journal entries about it.

I watch TV, draft scathing emails, and more than anything talk it through over and over with my friends.

Excercise - hammer myself - get the endorphins working - then I feel better again...

(or, if I can't do that, I might have a couple of drinks, hehe...)

Please note - the first alternative is by far the better one

For me, trying to do something else to take my mind off it. Spending some time on this site always cheers me up as we have such a great bunch of people here.

I put the radio on as then I don't have to think about choosing the music. The evening show on Sunshine Radio here is always fun to listen to, which is good for helping me cheer up.

Also, staying up until I am really tired helps as I don't then lay in bed awake for hours. I find a couple of headache tablets, even if I don't have a headache, seem to help me sleep.

I put on my Favourites Playlist and play GTA San Andreas...The mindless violence takes my mind off things, and by the end i am usually singing along to the songs like i usually do...If that doesnt work i usually watch Scrubs...that usually cheers me up

I go for a drive, listen to music, go for a walk, and if it's convenient go work out at the gym.

I write... I chat with my friends... I read... I masturbate (really... I do it five times as much when I'm depressed). Sometimes I listen to romantic music as well and I cry...

I do an hour of yoga, then go downstairs, put Ellen Degeneres on the DVR, and run on the treadmill for a couple of miles. Ellen can always fix a bad day:icon_wink

If I've been having a bad day, I'll grab my bike and ride for awhile. It's amazing how pedaling for a couple of hours makes the world seem far better...
