Is there anything, say, a person, cause, object etc that you'd a) risk you life for, and b) give your for?
I'd love to be all sparkly and altruistic, but the truth is, I'm a selfish, cowardly fuck and would probably freeze if such a situation arose.
I'd risk myself for a lot of things. I've got (currently undefined) plans to get involved in direct action and such things, and situations could be risky. I'd defend someone at risk to myself as well. I'd give my life for a cause I believe in if I thought it could make a difference.
I would risk myself for any of my friends and family. I would and have put my life on the line for my country. 12 Years US Army.
Yes for my brother, my cousin, two of my really good friends, for the girl I love. Those are the big ones that stand out. I would like to say I would do it for most people younger than me but its one thing to say it and another to do it.
I love my close friends and my family very, very much. But, I don't think I value anything in life as much as I do my own life and my own morals. So, no, I don't think that there's anything in life I'd risk my life for at the moment. I tend to plan my actions and act reasonably, rather than on emotion.
I would gladly risk or give my life to my family or a political cause. If my death could make the world safer for LGBT, the starving, women, the homeless, etc… Then it would be selfish of me not to die.
