So I just got the letter to say the college of law I applied to has accepted me providing I continue to pass my degree! It is another £13,500 loan but it means I get to do my legal practice course and I am so excited.

Haven't had much nice to say recently so this is a great surprise, x

Sweet. Don't worry about the student loan, no one ever pays those back anyway.

Well, not no one. But you have to be earning a certain amount in order to start paying back, and not everyone does. Alternatively, you can just leave the country. I'm not sure you'd be eligible for the loan though.

I guess. But estimates of what won't be paid back are incredibly high. Like, 75%.

Thanks, I'm so pleased about it. My year is about 15k and this is a seven month semester for my lawyer training. Seems more real now.

I can't wait to provide a better life..

haha, plus it gets wiped off after about 15 years of not being paid back. So technically its not debt.

Congratulationsssss! Awesome news. The cost will be worth it when you're coining it as a lawyer

    Congrats!

I know the feeling of progressing with your education, provided that you met the criteria, e.g. minimum GPA, interviews, etc. You're doing something right.

But those loans tho... T_T I quickly want to get a job after graduation to pay off the loans and mortgage on the house. Then live life
