Nope. I just don't see it being scientifically possible.

However, someone here once mentioned on a similar thread how things turn into soil, and microorganisms eat them, and then bigger animals eat them, or the plants use the soil, and a person eats the plant and it's a very different way of looking at it but I also think it's amazing.

I really don't get the birthmark theory, especially. That would mean I bled out through the second and third toes of each foot, and that seems unlikely.

It appears google is now being introduced into supernatural myths.

Of course I don't believe in past lives. The concept of a soul is without evidence, and utterly ridiculous.

I mean, not really, but I'm always open to being widely amazed.

I really, really enjoy toying with the idea way too much but I can't jump the mental hurdle of it being realistic.

Like other in this thread, I don't believe in previous lives because there is no evidence for it.

I just typed my date of birth in along with death and ... I was an actress who was known for an old '40's film noir I'm actually a big fan of. Although it does explain my issues with staircases and heights.

In all seriousness, I don't know if I believe in it but I won't fully rule it out. I kinda hope not as not only would the good come back but that also means there's a possibility of people like Hitler entering back into the world.

There is no evidence to support the hypothesis off previous lives. Upon death, when the brain shuts down, all consciousness and experience ends. There is no known mechanism that could enable it to be transferred into an infant, remotely somewhere else on the planet.

So in short, no it would appear to be nonsense.

    Happy days

Could be. Never had experience with it.

Years ago there was a very elobrate chart to find your past life on a magazine. I remember getting result of being an African Sculptress. Not sure today if it was my imagination or got it from one of the charts but she killed herself because of unrequited love.

So you can say I get my artistic side and luck in love from my past life.

No. I understand why people might want to believe it, but I can't see how people actually make themselves believe it.

People believe what they want to believe, sometimes. nah mean?

The harsh reality of life being a one time only deal. some people look up to god, i look up to the universe.

Care to explain the traits of reincarnation you believe in, and why?

For example, do you believe we are recycled energy that never ceases to exist, Or do you believe if you die, you are reborn into another consciousness?

I also believe in reincarnation. When we leave all there is is our flesh. But we still keep our spirit.

I don't know if I believe in the idea per se, but I have always been fascinated by the concept.

I'm not ruling out that re-incarnation isn't possible, but it seems highly unlikely. I think this is your only shot that you get at being a cognitive being.
