Which foreign language(s) would be your top choice to learn if you could?

I've taken a little of several languages (French, Italian, Japanese, and Spanish) but wish I were fluent in a language other than English.

umm German, French and Italian. It would help me with the classical music studies.
But I should improve my English and Japanese first.. lol

German would be at the top of my list to become fluent in. I understand a bit of it now, but barely enough to hold a proper conversation. Slowly learning more as time goes by.

A couple of months ago I had the opportunity to actually speak with someone in German, that was a very cool experience, and showed that I had actually learned something so far!!

Well, I'm fluent in English and French
taking Spanish and hope to be fluent in Japanese one
    day, and possibly Portuguese.

ibsian, is this the "i" land you talk about?

It just kind of makes sense, Urdu, Pundjabi, Hindi are all
Indian languages, then English an important language for
communication there, and Farsi is spoken in Iran, Afghanistan
Tajikistan and Uzbekistan (so, neighbor countries to India)
and it had a lot of influence on the Hindustani languages
and other languages of the Indian subcontinent.

I am "fluent" in English, Spanish, and Danish but I know Italian, a little French and a drop of German, and intend to learn Portuguese, Russian, Swahili, and Chinese.

I'm thinking I'm going to be a translator.

    German, French, Italian, and Japanese.

I'm taking French right now (3rd year), but seriously, I feel like I'm only 1st year level. The only French teacher in my school is TERRIBLE. She engages in off-topic conversation, making it so hard to concentrate in speaking and thinking in French. I sometimes wonder how she got her teaching degree for French...

I speak English (duh :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:), Spanish, and Italian, and a bit of Russian (can read and write it )

I want to learn French and German though :astonished:
