    So I was on a forum talking and this straight guy was boasting on the site how his lesbian friend enjoys giving guys blow job but she's still lesbian . I commented at first then I said maybe she's bisexual and not actually lesbian . Then he went off the handle and got upset , he called me a bigot , told me that I was in denial and that I'm scum .
    I then asked him if a straight man was doing the same thing as his female friend would he still think he was straight . Then he told me I'm just in denial about wanting to suck his cock . It was so inappropriate and disgusting .:tantrum:

    I hate when men consider themselves soooo incredibly irresistible, and think that they're God's gift to women. Ego maniacs make themselves unattractive because of their attitude. Oh and let's not forget the ones who think they're the best at sex and sexual acts (let's rather not get started on the ones who think they have the biggest penis)... If I had R100 for every time I heard "I'm not like the others, the woman's pleasure comes first" then I could retire at the age of 30...:dry:

    I agree that this guy's comment was indeed inappropriate and uncalled for. Maybe he's bitter because he realized that there are some women (such as yourself) that he will never "have". I pity that fool, it would seem like stupidity IS a disability, in certain cases... :eusa_doh:

    I so agree! So many guys think they are somehow an exception to lesbians sexual orientation. I think most of them are just super sexist and so caught up in the idea that "women serve men" that they can't even rap their tiny brains around gay women. Then they get mad when you use logic, its fricking infuriating.

    It's incredibly disrespectful when someone accuses you unjustly of bigotry or, for that matter, almost anything. I concur that it is usually people with enormous egos (who we know are really people with gigantic insecurities) who say these sorts of things, and the best route is to ignore them.

    It might also be worth exploring what's going on that you keep running into those people, becuase there are plenty of people who don't run into those types. Sometimes, we can unconsciously attract those sorts of people for a plethora of reasons, and we find ourselves engaging even though at some level we already know how our comments will be perceived.

    For me, at least, in the rare cases where that does happen, I think there's some part of me that wants to let them know how out-of-step their views are... but the problem is, when you're dealing with someone with ego, it isn't going to get anywhere because with insecurity comes shame, and with shame comes a complete lack of vulnerability... which means absolute beliefs with no willingness to consider alternative viewpoints. So unless you want to spend weeks or months trying to encourage them to open up to vulnerability (which is unlikely to be effective even if you try), then it usually isn't even worth the effort to try and engage them.

    I basically just pick my battles.

    Innocent ignorance might have explained the first part (with rudeness and complete lack of logic), but then the guy made a comment that qualifies as sexual harassment.

    He does seem like a gross person, even (especially?) if he doesn't realise that what he's saying is bad.
