Just interested in how many people actually fit the gay/lesbian/bi stereotypes? Answer, to the best of your knowledge, with whatever you think the stereotype for your sexuality is.

    Typical stereotypes:

    You've had a menage a trois-no.
You've slept with both male and female-no. Attraction does not necessarily imply sexual activity.
    You are confused-no.
    You are a swinger-no.
You have a high sex drive-Previously yes, now no.

I can think of more things that i don't fit in for being gay than i do.

The only gay thing i like is the fact i like men and the fact i'm not really into football or cars.

But everything else, i'm perceived as straight/

I don't think so, because there isn't really a standard stereotype for asexuals besides the 'sex-abstaining, never loving' thing.

Lesbians hate men. We aren't really lesbian, we just haven't found the right man yet. We love cats. We are masculine/butch. We like all women we encounter. We were molested as a kid that's why we aren't into men. We are vegans. We love/play basketball and softball. Only ugly girls are lesbians.

These are one of the worst stereotypes I have heard from people or read on the internet. They are obviously not true for all lesbians. I don't fit any of them except for the basketball one. I do used to play basketball but I have not met one lesbian girl in the team, most of them were actually straight feminine girls.

I don't fit the stereotypes that have people NOTICE that I'm bi, but if those are stereotypes, I sure as hell fit most of them.

I still reserve the right to say that I'm no stereotype at all, I am myself, an individual.

I'm pretty much exactly the same as you, except I'm a car nut.

I think I kinda do, but pretty much everyone I know who is straight says I totally don't. So, who knows...

    Yes & no

No in my mind. I don't think I have 'the walk or the talk' stereotypically associated with gay males, I don't have any interests in beauty or makeup or hair in all those counts I do the bare minimum to keep myself presentable. My worst nightmare is a day shopping. I love my cars, I love motorsport, I dress relatively modern but not particularly 'feminine' but absolutely hate football

Yes in that I do have traits. I can be camp at times, my voice isn't particularly masculine or deep and I've traded being masculine for being, I'm told, business like. When I was at high school people would point & comment and whisper about 'the gay' but to this day I have no idea whether it was a personal trait that caused this or whether they just did it because they're secretly little gay boys too lol

In another person, it doesn't matter for me, 'obviously gay' or not.

I like these answers and I agree with most of them. My sex drive used to be over the top and now it isn't. I'm not as "owned" by it.

I put somewhat even though I am between somewhat and not applicable. The somewhats are things that are missing, though - no talk of beer (don't drink it), babes (what's the point, the hot ones are not going to be putting out for me), and baseball (I don't play). I'd say the absence of all but a minimal interest in sports would be the stereotypical one for me. As for the other attributes, no.

I do fit a few stereotypes, but I think that's just a coincidence. I do love cats and have short nails, but I also hate sports and love shopping.

I think the only gay guy stereotype that fits me is that I'm emotional/sensitive. Other than that---I don't know.

I have a terrible fashion sense.
    I. HATE. SHOPPING.
Who doesn't love the thrill of football? Sports in general? I mean, Basketball is not the only sports. Sure you can love volleyball or at least badminton.

I don't got into any stereotype
Although some people say I "look like a lesbian"
I'm not feminine or masculine though I kinda just float around the middle

    ---------- Post added 22nd Jul 2014 at 01:15 PM ----------

    I can't say I "love" sports
But I get pretty into my universities games when I'm there for marching band lol
