I don't know how this stereotype got started or why people think all lesbians don't eat meat . Any of you guys have an idea ?

Probably because lesbians are more likely to be liberal, thus, more likely to think that eating meat is disgusting/animal cruelty.

Plus, I heard vegans/vegetarians have better tasting cum, but that's just a rumor. I wouldn't know.

It's a joke. And also a stereotype, just like the one from above. And also, two of them you said yourself. So, why wouldn't I post it? ^^

Stereotypes often don't make sense. I heard that women more commonly become vegetarians than men. Don't know how true that is. I guess, since lesbians are women and don't have boyfriends to pressure them into eating hamburgers together lol.

I happen to be a vegetarian, by the way. It wasn't in any way related to me being gay. I just figured why not try it, and I liked it, and I'm used to it. Almost 10 years now.

It probably has something to do with the vagintarian joke. At the very least part of it.

Damn, Stocking and I feel like the only meat-eating lesbians here. Well, I have somewhat of an excuse. I have iron-deficiancy anemia, and it's hard for me to get iron without red meat. Hell, I don't even eat red meat that often (which may explain why I feel so crappy all the time).

I know I can get iron from veggies, but my diet is terrible. The only veggies I'll eat are lima beans, broccoli, and potatoes (if potatoes count). Veggies with iron are even nastier than red meat, and that's saying something.

Maybe I'll go vegetarian one day, but that would be a long time from now.

You've answered your own question, actually. That's the answer. "Meat" is slang (one of them, anyway) for, well, a male's penis. Lesbians, normally, don't like men in a sexual manner. Hence, the vegetarian label.

The stereotype probably came from the depths of hell. As do all of the rest.

I always thought it stemmed from the fact that men think of their genitals as meat and lesbians don't have oral (or any other type of sex) with men.

I am not a vegetarian either. I love bacon too much!

That's what I've heard as well.

tbh I think a lot of the reason so many lesbians are vegan/vegetarian is because it makes your cum taste sweeter/better. Plus, it's just a health thing, and a lot of the other lesbians I know are very health-conscious. Myself, I've tried to become vegetarian but no success thus far!

So do I! I normally don't like pork, but I love bacon.

As for fried chicken, that's a big reason why I'm not a vegetarian. I can't live without it!

  19. Good to know there are other non-vegetarian lesbians lol. As far as the stereotype's origin goes, I think XenaxGabby's theory is probably mostly right.

Well, I've been a vegetarian since I was five, although I have given in a few times and ate s'mores.
