    If you're married, it's simple -- you get a divorce -- it's over.
But for the rest of us. You get together, you break up, sometimes you get together again. You find someone else who interests you; you break up and get back together with your old flame; You loose interest; You rekindle the interest. So how do you know when a relationship is really over?
I'm just curious because my long-term same-sex relationship ended between me and my partner. We'd been apart or about five years. Started talking again, and we both showed interest in resuming our old relationship. Things came up and we never got back together.
The interest still seems to be there -- but I guess it's not really over till the fat-woman sings.
