She's a woman, he's black, this is a presidential election. There's no way to avoid it.

One of the most epic Daily Show clips of all time.

Has anyone seen the Daily Show from August 4th, 2000, during the Republican Convention? Colbert was on it and had a hilarious clip. Unfortuntely, his comments weren't far off from what the Bush administration ended up being....

I recommend actually watching the news instead of relying on late night talk shows and comedy skits to get your news.

And by the way, when you cherry-pick quotes and take them out of context of course they are going to "look bad". Every situation is different, there were a host of issues surrounding Jamie Lynn Spears and particularly her family show and and her mother's book. Not to mention how the family dealt with the situation after it (to milk it for all the media exposure and book deals that they could get). Palin's family tackled the situation head on and have moved forward as a family---the perfect example of how to do it... and how a family should deal with any unexpected development---like a kid coming out as being gay.
And based on the media coverage of Palin, and democratic politicians positions, as well as feminist groups positions---they only care about liberal women, or women that agree with them on all the issues. Nice fair and balanced media.

those clips arent exactly taken out of context. the things said are so straightforward they can't be denied

Oh, I watch and read alot of news. It doesn't mean I can't laugh at The Daily Show. Jon Stewart's show is comedy. What's sad is shows like the O'Reilly factor which is supposed to be serious and is a total joke. There is not many people in this world I despise, but Bill O'Reilly is one of them!
