I never get hit on (guys or girls) and it sort of tics me off me. But I guess it's because I always look pissed off.

Yeah sometimes. I'm actually terrible at noticing though, so usually a friend or coworker would have to tell me afterward. I guess that doesn't help my chances of finding someone >.>

    Often apparently.

I'm usually unsure if they're hitting on me or just being friendly though, so I don't retaliate. Friends tell me later that they were hitting on me.

Unless they're drunkenly all over me of course, which kind of turns me off, so I don't retaliate then either.

Hmm... I guess that means I have to make the first move.
    Thanks for the epiphany

I do--by both. I've noticed as I get older I get hit on by more women, not sure what that's about...

I have been, but since I tend to be oblivious, it's usually a case of friends telling me after the fact unless the person is being really really blatant about it - as in practically masturbating in front of me or following me around a store, stopping where I stop and rubbing their crotch while eying me.

Always hit on by other men in my early 20's but I had become so use to hiding my true self to avoid being attacked again that I had already started to believe my own lie. Shame. There were some sexy looking men approaching me.

Yes, and it's always by men, usually in their 20's-30's.

Oh god yes, and it varies greatly depending on what I'm wearing. If I'm running errands I look pretty frumpy, I wouldn't expect anyone to hit on me, but otherwise people treat me kindly even though I've got no makeup on or anything.

Same goes for when I dress "normal" (like mainstream people).

When I dress up all fashionable, I get a lot of compliments, mostly from older women, sometimes older men, but nobody hits on me.

Lately I've been dressing flat-out goth, and I am now some kind of sex object. I don't get it. The best part is that most of the times I got sexual comments made at me, I was either wearing a T-shirt and cargo pants, or the person couldn't see anything other than my head. I also have a pixie cut. Also, even though more men hit on me, I think some women did too (couldn't tell their motives) but only in places where goths gathered.

Wow sorry that got so long, I tried to be brief.

  16. I've only ever been hit on by guys my age or a little bit older-- usually early 20's. Though there is this guy in his late 20's/early 30's that always stares at me when I go to Wal Mart with my mom.

If the ladies are hitting on me, I have yet to notice their advances.

Yeah, by men and women. I'm flattered regardless of who does it. There are many more straight women than gay men though, so it's kind of skewed in the direction I don't prefer, unless I go to a gay bar, which isn't often (and they're full of straight people anyway, lol).

    No.

However, I have helped people I know to get someone's attention, which eventually lead them to them getting a number, or walking out of a place with someone. So, I guess my efforts result in someone -- just not me -- getting hit on.

Unfortunately no...not that I've ever been aware of

  20. I used to get hit on at work all the time by middle age straight guys. It's creepy and gross!
I have had to close the drive thru window right in some guy's face more than once because I'm not allowed to stand up for myself when someone is being gross or won't stop asking for my phone number and calling me "princess".

It's not all it's cracked up to be.

And please, for the love of god, don't hit on people while they're at work. They have to be nice to you and can't say no when they feel uncomfortable with what you're doing. This has been a PSA.
