Ok here's what's going on. After 12+ years of doubting, I am finally coming to terms with being a Trans Woman (YAY!) and even though Im not allowed to wear women's clothes in the house, I MAY be able to sneak them out when I'm on the town. My plan is to go to a store like walmart in a town I never go to. That way, as a first experience, I can go somewhere that I'll never see these people again, so it won't be as nerve racking. Basically, what would be a good first outfit to wear to a casual store as a woman? I am not good with matching clothes yet so I need help. Shoes too please! Also, you can help me decide for clothes for other times, after I get more comfortable. Please nothing expensive as I have little money. Thanks!

Depends on what you like :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes: Are you more into the really feminine stuff? Skirts and dresses and stuff? Or are you a jeans and tshirt kinda gal like me? :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

I'm kinda both. Probably a LITTLE more of the really feminine type.

Clothes to get at Wal-Mart or to wear to Wal-Mart? Also if you can manage slightly higher prices and there is one where you're going, definitely check out a Target; they have a good variety of styles for figuring out what you like :>

Try JcPenney's as well, K-Mart, or Kohl's. They have a huge selection on what you might like and it won't break your budget (Nordstrom, Dillard's...avoid).

Try coloured jeans and a more feminine tshirt or a simple summer dress with a little jean jacket maybe...these are cute and slightly more feminine

Maybe a nice dress or really colourful jeans I'm getting a pink pair soon. You can get any colour now.

I really like the summer dress+Jean jacket idea! That's what I'll wear
