A radio station around here ran a contest recently, where if you put a 98.7 window cling on your car and you were lucky enough to get tailed by their van, they'd give you $100 for every time 98.7 was in your presets.

So for those of you who are willing to share your location, what are the radio presets in your car? Mine are in numeric order (Because I'm OCD about these things) on my preset buttons, so here goes.

    1: Channel 955 (WKQI Detroit)
2: 96.3 Today's Best Hits Without The Rap (WDVD Detroit)
3: 97.5 Now FM (WJIM Lansing)
    4: 98.7 Detroit's Amp Radio (WDZH Detroit)
    5: CK 105.5 (WWCK-Flint)

My radio doesn't have any preset buttons, but it's always set to Studio Brussel (a Flemish alternative radio station). Hardly ever listen to it though, as my radio can play USB and I prefer singing along to music I like.

I only have a few presets. #1 is set to an unused frequency that I utilize for my satellite radio. #2 is set to my local Lite/Classic Rock station (playing hits from the 60s thru today). They basically play my iTunes library, so it's perfect for me. And #3 is set to a station that plays the best of the 80s, 90s, and today, but I rarely listen to that one.

There are six preset buttons, but I really only use 3 of them.

The first of my three most used, is 97.5 (or Z97.5). They tend to play heavier stuff, from almost any era really. It can be the 1970s, 1980s, 1990s, or the 2000s. Not really much to say about this, except they really love Linkin Park.

The second of my three most used, is 101.1 The Beat, which focuses on Rap/Hip-Hop/R&B. While it can have some decent songs come on, a lot of them are horrible -- be it lyrics, the beat, or just the message. I detest "No Flex Zone", it sounds horrible! That hook is so... whiner, and... no. I also tend to dislike when Drake raps, though some of his beats are okay. Mostly, I listen to this on Thursday nights, because they have Throwback Thursday, where it's 2 hours of stuff from the 80s, 90s, and 00s.

The third of my three most used, is 105.9 The Rock, which focuses on the classic material of the 60s, 70s, and 80s. For the most part, I like most of what comes on here.

The other three presets, are a classical music station, another everything-mix station, and another 60s/70s/80s era-based station.

Usually, I listen to CDs. Yeah, I know. I'm sooo cool.

I don't have any presets (no car), but these are what I usually listen to.

97.1 The River - "Atlanta's Classic Hits Station" (WSRV - Atlanta metropolitan area)

Rock 100.5 - "Atlanta's Rock Station" (WNNX - Atlanta metropolitan area)

103.7 Chuck FM - "We Play Everything" (WXKT - Gainseville, GA)

I used to listen to 96.1 back when it was "96 Rock" (WKLS - Classic Rock/Heavy Metal - 1974-2006) and "Project 96.1" (WVEE - Active Rock - 2006-2012). Now it's "Power 96.1" (WWPW), and plays mainstream hiphop/pop, so I hardly listen to it anymore.

There was also something called "98-9 The Bone" (Mostly Alternative Rock/Metal - can't remember anything else), but it lasted less then a year.

I also miss 99X (WNNX - Alternative Rock - 1992-2012) very dearly. Atlanta hardly has any rock stations anymore, :tears:

I remember Project 96.1, 99X, and 98.9 The Bone also played the shit out of Linkin Park. Not that I'm complaining. I'd much rather listen to them than the Justin Bieber bullshit that's on 96.1 now.

Sounds a lot like 95.5 (also called "The Beat") before they were replaced with conservative talk radio. Half of their stuff was good, while the other half was terrible. Then again, I live in a rap-mecca, so I sound have expected it.

That's OK. I used to be like that, too. I miss the days when my mom and I would listen to hundreds of CDs on car trips. She has those CDs stashed somewhere. I'm going to steal them one day...

    94.5 PST, Wired 96.5, 101.1 More FM, Q102

Those channels play pop music for the most part.

    1) KAJA 97.3 Country

    2) KCYY 100.3 Country

3-4 are some pop/contemporary stations that my sister likes

5-6 are Texas country/Americana stations that I only get to hear when I'm closer to another town called New Braunfels because the signal is pretty weak in the city sometimes, so I don't use them as often.

In the car it only has 6:
    1)FM 93.3 ~ KTCL ~ 'Channel 93 3' - Alt Rock
    2)FM 95.7 ~ KPTT ~ 'The Party' ~ Dance/Hiphop/Top 40
    3)FM 100.3 ~ KIMN ~ 'Mix 100' ~ Pop/Top 40
4)FM 101.1 ~ KOSI ~ 'Kosi 101' ~ Lite Rock (really only listen to this one in December when it switches to all Christmas music)
    5)FM 103.5 ~ KRFX ~ 'The Fox' ~ Classic Rock
    6)FM 106.7 ~ KBPI ~ 'KBPI' ~ Hard Rock/Alt Rock

The home one has more presets & I used multiple of 'em  but most of the time I listen to CD's, not Radio. When I do these are the most common (in no particular order):
    FM 92.5-HD2 ~ KWOF ~ Classic Country
FM 93.3-HD2 ~ KTCL ~ Classic Alt Rock
    FM 95.7-HD2 ~ KPTT ~ Dance/Club
    FM 106.7-HD2 ~ KBPI ~ Hard Rock
(There used to be an All 80's and a Pride Radio as well..those were my favorites when they existed...

These are the stations that I listen to!

I'm "forced to listen" to 94.5 the Bull, but I only really like 97.5 the River. I like 95.5 in the morning (WSB) because my dad's a news reporter on it. I get to hear my own dad on the radio every single day

  15. uuuh my presets are probably whatever the previous car owner had them at!

I listen only to podcasts and my own music on my phone via bluetooth or aux in cable.

If I had my own car they'd be star 94.1, channel 93.3, jammin' z90 90.3, and energy 103.7.

Too bad. Liked that station when I visited ATL.

This was my favorite ATL station when I visited. We still have our version(89X here), but yours was always better in my opinion.
