    Hey,

Id you ever go to the gym its full of men isisting his mate is a phaggot and that he saw a litt phag looking at him... Hes gonna knock his lights out if he does it again blah balh

    Why is this?

I think its slightly gay that they are obsessed with self image and checking each others muscle growth haha

I think they're uncomfortable with gay men..

I like how a lot of straight men automatically think just because someone is gay, they can knock them out, we're no different!! We're not weaker!

Men looking at each other is normal in the gym, whether its checking out or competition.. even admiration.

Its just the self obsessed twats who makes it a big deal.

I think a lot of them aren't as comfortable with their own sexuality as they like to think and so project aggression and hostility onto others. If everybody could remember that nobody really cares we'd be all better off.

Because they're in the gym either because they're insecure, or because their masculinity is important to them.

Or they like the look of muscles, like working out as a hobby, and think living healthy is important.

I think we're in Narnia. Not too sure.
They do it because they ignore basic science facts or are just dumb retards (that think they have the right to insult an innocent man) who need to drink bleach already.

It's funny, I would think the gym would have lots of gay guys there.

Because many straight men are extremely problematic.

Most of the gyms I have been to over the years have been mainly gay guys so--no I guess I haven't experienced this.

Anyway, at my gym, I'm sure there are a lot of straight guys who think I'm a crossdresser and a freak. However, they don't say anything. In fact, I have never been harrassed or made to feel unsafe in the gym. That only happens when I walk around in public.

Our gym is a classy establishment.

It's funny because I know a lot of these muscular men who act really homophobic but I meet them in a gay chat.

Homophobia among gay men is extremely common. They do it to try and pass as straight.

It's very sad, because in doing that, they contribute both to their own victimization and everyone around them.

Those men in the OP gym sound like insecure men , I guess that's why they have to call other people gay slurs .

Where does the word gym come from?

    gymnós meaning "naked"

Have I made my point? Just search what the Greeks did in the gymnasiums.

I go to the gym a lot, but pass as a straight looking guy so I've met a lot of people at the gym, albeit not my friends because I'm not interested in being friends with narcissists. I'm not huge, but very intimidating and appear very unfriendly - almost scary. I once had an acquaintance of mine who said to me to come over to him, because a guy was making fun of black people (jokingly). Sure enough the guy shut up when he saw me... that is until you meet me and realize how awesome I am to be around, so that might be another reason why no one suspects.

I actually don't look at a lot of guys in the gym, I've always been turned off by muscles. If anything, if I see a very hairy man or a cute guy, sure I'll look. But it's not like I go to the gym for that, it's actually to not get fat and build muscle. However, guys being my attraction, of course I'll look every once in awhile, but that's natural for a gay guy. Same as a straight guy will look at girls in the gym. Now if that makes a straight guy uncomfortable, that's not my issue, but trust me it's not like I stay gazing at them, not at all. I just look whenever I'm distracted and keep on lifting.

I so love your confidence. I dream of when I will feel confident enough to do that.

We are obviously going to very different gyms. I actually feel threatened by how many guys hit on me at mine to which I keep saying "Thanks, but I'm not gay," (even though I am) because I'm super insecure with my sexuality.

Wow. That's a super interesting response. When I was going to gyms after accepting my attraction to guys nobody hit on me. Ironically I had lots of guys hitting on me when I thought I was still only really interested in women. Shrug.

I know it sounds vain and hokey but yeah, it's one of those 24/7 gyms, they call them "No Judgement Zones" or something, because people of all shapes and sizes show up. But still-- I actually stopped going awhile back because I just got so wigged out by it all.
