Default would you buy this?

I have been thinking for a while about writing a book and i want to write about alot but i thought about how ive never really seen a book with characters gay teens can realate to or that they can actually feel that gay good is normal so i thought about writing a book about a gay teen and his search for self acceptance and a great guy.
I dont know if its a weird idea. plesase be 100% honest.
thanks guys

Not to be mean or anything but I'm sure there are quite a few book on the subject you're interested in.....but sadly I'm sure they're hidden away on the back of the shelves. =(

BUT you write it and I'll read it. =D
I can't find many books like that in my city, but I'm probably not looking hard enough.

I've been thinking about writing many-a books but I'm worried about how If I wanted to be a mainstream author writing up a gay character would probably not be the best way to get started.

I LOVE writing I'm constantly churning out story ideas that I'm sure people would love but I always want to incorporate my life into the stories and like I said gay = a touchy subject.

It's a very lame thing to be worried about but I'll get over it.
I know for a fact that my work is going to be published, ambitious much? =P, and I know that I'll write up a great story about a gay guy.

Crap, I'm going to start giving my ideas away soon lol.
I say go for it!
You're braver than I am at the moment.
I guess now we're racing to see who get's their story published first. =D

Sure! I'm partway through writing something similar, although about a girl.

I've constantly thought of rewriting Cinderella into a modern gay romance

I think it'd be a rad book

I'd buy it.

I have to admit, rewriting a well known love story sounds a good idea, whoever suggested Cinderella, but my idea had always been 'Romeo and Julian'...

Wow Holly... all you do is hurt my feelings...

First you disbelieve me about Kathy Griffin's awesomeness and now you forget that I suggested Cinderella...

I'm hurt... Really hurt...

Haha... not really
