How did people do? I didnt do very well, and i have to go to college to talk about my course and what options there is. >.< I couldhave done a lot worse i guess. ^.^
Heyy I'm sorry to hear that! Definitely the best thing to do would be to speak to the college and talk about possible career options. I've been in that situation myself and I found that to be the most helpful. I always knew what career path I wanted to take and I was worried that my poor gcse grades would hinder that. However I was pleasantly surprised that there's different access routes to suit all different kinds of people. 6 years on, I've gained four a levels, a foundation degree in construction and an honours degree in architecture. So it just goes to show, with the right support network you can achieve anything. Best of luck for your next steps. I'm sure everything will work out perfectly for you
Sorry you didn't do so well, OP. I'm quite happy with my results. I got A*A*A*AABBBC & a D* (equivalent of A*) from my level 2 BTEC (but I already knew that.) Slightly disappointed with the C in Spanish, because I revised my butt off for it, but it's always been my weakest subject, & the school practically forced us to do a language. The listening paper slayed me. Grrrr...and I did so well in the practice papers, too. Got a D in that, even though I got an A* in the reading. T_T
Not in Scotland. No idea what it is these days because they changed the name of the awards the year after I left
I did quite well, I am rather proud, and so is my family. I am retaking Year 11 though due to medical problems, wah ////
