Sadly I could only find the wiki page, which is not a good source of information. But what that said was it was an LGBT community, for relatively larger guys. But it would take more research to get information I would be comfortable giving out. Wikipedia is not a good source of information and its one I don't trust. If no one else has a better insight you can ask me to do a more in depth search. I can pull from university resources.
Isn't that just another name for gay guys who are bigger and have lots of hair? It was like a movement in 90s if I'm correct that was to change the stereotype of 'posh' gay guys?
hmmm i'm definitely guessing it's a LGBT community group. the term "bear" is used to describe a group of men that are "masculine" and are either muscular, larger or hairier in some short of way. i'd doubt it would be a brotherhood of some sort. last time i was looking into it, i was met with nothing but racism.
When I saw this, I was like (more seriously, International Bear Brotherhood Flag - Simple English Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia and http://simple.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bear_(gay_male) - from this, I think it's just another name for the 'bear' community.)
