Favorite country?

    Due to the popularity of my thread "worst way to die" and of Hex's TOTAL RIP-OFF :slight_smile:P) thread "best way to die", I decided to make some more open-ended questions. So, what are your favorite countries?

    Mine, from 3 to 1, are Canada, because it's pretty neat and I always like it when I visit, Switzerland (although I don't get why people make such a big deal about it remaining neutral forever: they have a ton of chocolate, are surrounded by mountains, and have everyone's gold) and the Netherlands.

    The Netherlands are my favorite country because they're so innovative with everything, and even though they've been holding back the sea for centuries, they still do amazing things. Also, their airport sells MASSIVE chunks of chocolate.

    Mine are, 1) The UK 2) Great Britain 3) England :grin:.
    But seriously? 1st would be Britain, 2nd Norway, 3rd Holland. I live in the UK, but my family lived in Norway for a short while when I was a baby, and Holland... Holland is just awesome.

    Democratic Republic of the Congo - I must be exaggerating when I tell people about the humans rights abuses in your beautiful land! :eusa_danc

    I would love to say I'm a proud Brit and say the UK...but the UK is shit. The weather. The traffic. Most of the views. All very miserable, but I doubt I'll leave it either because it's not a bad place to live if you, like me, want an easy life

    Favourite US/Florida, California & New York - I love the whole American thing, I wish I was American. Probably followed by Austrialia/New Zealand, Canada

    I can appreciate places for what they are though. China, India, Brazil, Europe all have their charms. I would say Italy for beauty, but I'm not into 'old things'. France has its attractions, but every French person I've met has annoyed me. Germany is nice these days, Switzerland is gorgeous and lovely, Belgium's miserable & Poland is empty because their all in the UK LOL

    I wouldn't visit Russia though, looks miserable

    Incidently, I'm interested to see Norways popular.
