So today at lunch, things were going as usual when one of the guys (a friend I guess) came up to me and out of the blue asked me "What's your sexual preference?" While he was saying it, I was freaking out in my head. But after he finished, I nonchalontly answered:

"Plant."

I thought they would think I was joking and keep asking me. But they thought I was telling the truth! I had to actually explain to them that I was not attracted to plants!

They did ask me why did I say that if I wasn't attracted to plants but I just played it off cool again and said "Because I wanted to." Then they stop.

Just wanted to post this.

Yeah, I couldn't believe they thought I was for real. I mean, come on, plants?

BTW, other friends were around too, so that's why I said they.

lol! I didn't say plants, actually I didn't even have time to respond [thank goodness, cause I would've said yes... then seen the reaction of the table lol!] Reason I didn't get to respond is because right after it was asked, this other kid started talking to me =] lol

If people ask me, in an awkward situation, I just say "isn't that a bit private" or "why do you want to know"....although both of those give it away in a nice way lol.

Well, everyone at school always calls me weird because I say really random stuff, do random things, and know the weirdest, most useless stuff ever. I mean, I asked my friend when she came in class "Are you feeling gay today?" and she answered "Why, do I look gay?" and I said "Yeah." I'm also really spacey and absent-minded, so I love to daydream which usually I end up in awkward situations. LOL So maybe that's why they believed me.

I'm absent-minded and daydreamy a lot of the time, but the only question I ever get about that is "Why don't you talk much?". Or sometimes, "Are you angry/sad about something?".
