    Does anyone know what the military's policy on transgender humans is? I've wanted to join the Air Force for ages, but I might not be able to....help!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I just read an article that was written in May. It says that there is a lengthy discussion going about allowing transgendered into the military. However, it's been a few months since then. When do you want to join? Hopefully, when you're 18, that can change and you can join. A lot can happen in four years, you know...

    Right now, the military is not accepting of transgender people.

    Which I find completely bizarre. If a person has the requisite level of fitness and wants to carry an M4A1, I want that person to protect me. (*hug*)

    I'd love to fly planes for the Air Force, but as of right now....grr!!!!! I hope stuff changes in that time.
