It was amazing.

While I was in New York, I got randomly messaged on a profile site. I usually get a load of winks, not many messages, even though I'm pretty sure I say I don't want winks, just messages, even if they're just "Hi, how're you?"

Okay, so I replied, and we got chatting. I added him on MSN, and we chatted for a while. Eventually, he said he was demanding a date when I got back, hahah. So yeah, I got back yesterday, and today at about 3pm he came online. I started chatting and said "Hey, you wanna meet up today?" He said he did, and we met up at 6. I saw him come wandering up and thought... 'Oh my god he's cuter than the photos...' He's really effeminate in his looks and fashion styles, but not really in his actions. He's got dyed blonde hair, a bit of makeup which oddly really suits him, and a jacket covered in frills - he's obsessed with Japanese Visual Kei stuff. He wants to buy everything of the Moi Meme Moitie website.

It wasn't really officially a date, but it was pretty much perfect.

We walked a few miles along the seafront. After a while, it got dark and we laid down on the grass, watching the boats out at sea, and watching planes go by - it's too cloudy for stars at the moment. I held him to my side, and we kept making jokes and stuff, having a great laugh and stopping anything being awkward.

Eventually we walked back to his house, drank tea, and ate pizza. And laid on his bed just kinda hugging, him held against my shoulder if you know what I mean by that? It was so awesome. Eventually, I had to go, and he walked me all the way back to my house, and we held hands all the way.

I'm so hopeful. We're meeting again on Saturday and going to play Air Hockey in the arcade.

I wasn't in New York when we dated, haha! He messaged me, assuming I was at my hometown - which is also where he lives. He waited for me to come back before we had the date.

Thanks everyone for the congrats and good luck! I'm hoping for more luck tomorrow. Current plan is meeting up, playing air hockey at the arcade, then watching the Pirates of the Caribbean films back-to-back. =D

I'm normally cursed with awful luck, like knowing my luck he'd get called into work or something... happens all the time. It's better to arrange the dates a few hours before, I think. Probably gonna do that a bit, doesn't give me time to get my hopes up if things don't end up happening.
