Post a Saying, Proverb, Poem, or verse from a scripture(does not have to be the bible) that you fill is filled with wisdom.

My example: All that we are is built upon what we have thought, is founded upon your thoughts if one speaks or acts with foolish thoughts unhappiness follows with like the wheel of a cart follows the foot of an ox, if one speaks or acts with unfoolish thoughts happiness follows like a shadow that never leaves him.

The only never changing thing is that forever their are changes.

As rain breaks through an ill-thatched house, so does temptation break through an unreflecting mind.
As rain does not break through a well-thatched house, neither does temptation break through an reflecting.

Give a man a fish feed him for a day, teach a man to fish feeds him for a lifetime.

Do not show off desirable objects, so that people’s minds/hearts do not get excited/disturbed. Therefore, when the sage rules, he empties people’s minds, fills their bellies (their cores), weakens their will/ambition, and strengthens their bones/resolve. He makes them guileless (wu-chih; without cunning knowledge) and desireless (wu-yü) so that the crafty don’t act. By acting without action (wu-wei), nothing is not in order" -Lao muthafu**in Tzu

Okay i was gonna make yet another jackass post but I'd like to be serious and "kick it" with you all about something important for a second [pulls out chair and turns it around, sitting in it backwards]

when I hit peak depression aka once a week I think of this gay ass fucker poem

it drops some #TRUTHBOMBS that frankly I need and even if I'm mad and swearing at this fucker poem because I'm not ready to handle the words, I know deep down they are true and it calms me a bit so I know a lot of people especially LGBT and especially especially youth so especially especially especially LGBT youth have sad brains like me too so maybe this poem can help, or not.

    " There was once a tiger-striped cat.
This cat died a million deaths, and lived a million lives,
and in those lives, various people owned him.
None of those people he cared for.
This cat was not afraid of death.
One life, the cat became a stray cat, which meant it was free.
And it met a white female cat.
They became mates, and lived together.
Time passed, the white cat passed away of old age.
And the tiger-striped cat cried a million times.
Eventually, the cat died again. But this time, it didn't come back to life.

    " Space...

A boy has the right to dream. There are endless possibilities stretched out before him.

You have to trust in your own path.
Whatever happens from now on, you stand firm and face your destiny without fear, but with courage.

What awaits him down the path, he will then have to choose.

No one's gonna give you a map, you’ve got to walk your own path.

The children leave their homes in search of this quest:

    What is thy desire?

As they search, they are always asking questions: What’s out there? What’s waiting for me?

Why was I made? Who made me? And what did they make me for?

Are you going to go up into space with your old man, or not?

Maybe I’ll never get over this...

I’ve lived my life following my dreams, and I don’t have any regrets.

You gonna just keep running away?
Just keep running away? ... ... ... I'm not running.

    8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1... zero.

Believe in yourself, and create your own destiny.

    Don’t fear failure.

A crow was sitting on a branch of a tree, with a piece of cheese in her beak,
when a fox observed her and set his wits to work, to discover some way of getting the cheese.
Coming and standing under the tree, he looked up and said:

" What a noble bird I see above me! Her beauty is without equal,
the hue of her plumage exquisite. If only her voice is as sweet as her looks are fair,
she ought without doubt to be queen of the birds. "

The crow was hugely flattered by this,
and just to show the fox that she could sing, she gave a loud caw.
Down came the cheese, of course, and the fox, snatching it up, said:

" You have a voice, madam, I see. What you want is wits. "

A scorpion was washed up on the shore of an island. Unable to swim, the scorpion was forced to remain on the island. One day, a frog approached the island. The scorpion asks the frog, " Brother Frog, might I ask you the favor, of allowing me to ride upon your back, so that I may return home? "

The frog replies: " But you will sting me, Brother Scorpion. I do not want to die. "

The scorpion points out, if he did sting the frog, that they would both die. And this appeased the frog, who then allowed the scorpion upon his back, to begin the return home.

Halfway, the frog is stung. As the frog begins to slip into death, he asks the scorpion, why?

The scorpion simply says, as it too drowns, " It is but my nature. "

"There once was a man named Gold Rodgers who was king of the pirates. He had fame, power, and wealth beyond your wildest dreams. Before they hung him from the gallows, these were the final words he said, "My fortune is yours for the taking. But you'll have to find it first. I left everything I own in one piece." Ever since pirates from all over the world left to set sail for the grand line searching for one piece. The treasure that would make their dreams come true." - Announcer man from One Piece.

Matthew 7:3-5 New International Version (NIV)

3 “Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? 4 How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? 5 You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye."

    This is my favorite passage.
