    I semi-failed when I got to Germany

I vowed never to smoke since I'm a singer... but I was incredibly drunk the other night, someone offered me a cig and I took it without hesitation...

I'm so ashamed of myself... =[

Michael, I can empathize. I quit smoking a couple months ago. You're young, you'll be able to quit easily again. Just don't give into peer pressure. It's all about will power.

You die of lung cancer and I can die of liver failure and we will never have to worry about parts starting to sag.

I'm not going to try to tell you how to live your life. If you're a happier man because you smoke, go for it. If it makes it easier to be sociable, then by all means, be sociable that way. After all, plenty of people drink purely to ease conversation and the like, and that causes damage too. I'd not presume to order about someone who drinks, simply because it's gonna damage his liver.

Hypothetically, someone might drink one day and get the courage to talk to someone who he'd always liked, and maybe that one time might give him someone to fall in love with. Who knows? I even dare to say that it has happened hundreds of times before.

Why couldn't this happen with cigarettes? It'd be less direct than that, but maybe you'd get closer to these guys because you both smoke, or someone else. And surely that's one of the things that life is about when you're young, isn't it? It's about friends and lovers. It is for me, along with seeing new things.

I couldn't care worth a damn about the future. What I want is a boyfriend - coming along nicely on that front right now - and a lot of close friends, and I want to see things while I'm young. I could spend years being careful and bored to make sure I'd have a good future, and then get hit by a car when I'm finally old enough to enjoy the fruits of my labours. What's the point in wasting one day worrying about another one? Just try and enjoy each day as it comes.

But keep this in mind, Michael; when you want to give up smoking, when you decide that health is what you want most, we'll support you.

PS: Yes, I do actually think this deeply about everything.

    Umm, congratulations?

Anyways, it'll only make you more sociable with people who don't mind the smoke. I, for one, would avoid being by you when you smoked.

As said, quit again! Smoking is for smokers, and you don't want to be one of them, right? Besides, most people I know think of 16-years old people who smoke like pissants with a desire to look cool and mature. No offense.

Smoking isn't as bad as everyone says it is. YES, it is a contributing factor that can lead to lung cancer. However, genetics plays a huge role in whether or not you get any kind of cancer. And a huge part of it is still a mystery. I would say try to quit smoking, but don't make it your sole purpose in life. It's not the most important ting.

Don't look at it as another failure, look at it as a speedbump along the way. If you stop smoking again, all isn't lost

I'm not a smoker but Whatever makes you happy. haha I don't plan on getting old. (Duno how I'll fix that problem but just wait... I'll find a way.)

Just wanted to say don't be hard on yourself. There are far worse things you could do. Like giving up smoking for crack snorting... or fast food binging. Just if you feel like it, quit, if you don't, f:***: if I care. I'll still be your friend. haha
