Dear members, The staff have had to make the difficult decision to remove the user Dexter Colton (also known by Dex) from the EC community following an investigation into his posts. Unfortunately, our investigation revealed that he had fabricated his recent stories, including that of his engagement, marriage, and subsequent honeymoon. Dex later admitted (via email) to fabricating his stories. We know that a lot of members were involved in discussions with Dex over his marriage, and helped advise him on various subjects related to it, and that many members probably took inspiration from Dex's story. But on a forum that is built on authenticity, and provides a safe space for every member, there is no place for fictional stories and life events. The staff continually monitors the content posted here, and we take fictional, inauthentic posts and misrepresentations very seriously. We provided the opportunity for Dex to return to the forum under specific terms and conditions that could ensure the safety and integrity of the community, but he chose not to respond to our offer. We are sorry for having to take this action, but we hope that you will continue to find inspiration in other members' stories and experiences.
