Midterms is coming in two months and I was wondering who everyone is voting for from governor, senator and representative.

I'm from MA. Supporting Steve Grossman (current state treasurer) in the Democratic gubernatorial primary and hopefully will be able to vote for him in November. Democratic Senator Ed Markey is unopposed in the primary, and faces a token challenge in the general election. Congressman Mike Capuano is unopposed in both elections. I will be voting for both of them in November.

I've been waiting to look in to the candidates, but I'll probably choose anybody from the green party, and if nobody is running from the green party I'll choose a democrat.

    Governor: Mark Schauer (D)
Senator: Gary Peters (D) (Side note, Terri Lynn Land isn't even qualified to run for local school board, much less US Senate.)
    Representative: Paul Clements (D)

    Ballot Measures:
Veto referendum on the legalization of wolf hunting: Hell no
Veto referendum on a bill to allow the DNR to decide which species are legal and illegal to hunt: No

For Oregon State Governor I will probably vote for John Kitzhaber(D).
For Oregon State Senator I will probably vote for Jeff Merkley(D).
For Oregon State representative I will probably vote for Kurt Schrader(D).
    Oregon ballot measures
Legalizes recreational marijuana; tasks Oregon Liquor Control Commission with regulation of its sale (I'm voting yes)
Mandates labeling of certain foodstuffs that contain genetically modified organisms(I'm voting yes.)
I am really looking forward to the upcoming elections.

Hexagon is annoyed that this questions is US-centric, yet doesn't identify his own home location. Not sure the problem with posing questions that may apply only to some members.

    to quote Stephen Fry

"Voting UKIP as protest is like taking a shit in your hotel bed to protest bad room service, then realizing you have to sleep in a bed full of shit."

That said without giving away my state I will be voting against basically all of the incumbents.

Definitely not voting for Nathan Deal for Georgia governor. I wish for a better, more competent person in charge, which will happen when pigs fly, I suppose -_-.

Both Jason Carter and Michelle Nunn are polling quite well this year in Georgia.

In Connecticut there are not US Senators running. For the US house
District 1 Dem John Larson vs. Republican Matthew Corey vs. Green Jeff Russell.
District 2 Dem. Joe Courtney Vs. Republican Lori Hopkins Cavanagh vs. Green William Clyde.
District 3 Dem. Rosa Di Lauro vs. Republican James Brown
District 4 Dem. Jim Himes vs. Republican Dan Debicella
District 5 Dem. Elizabeth Esty vs. Republican Mark Greenberg.

All Democratic candidates are currently serving in all those districts.

For Connecticut governor it is Democrat Dan Malloy vs. Republican Tom Foley and including Independents Visconti, Lee Whitnum, and Jonathan Pelto.

If anyone wants me to look up their candidates for them I would be more than happy to do it simply for the fact I love politics.

This election is very important for our future. If the Republicans win the Senate the disfunction will be even worse and the way Mitch Mcconnell has treated Obama since 2009 it would not be a very pretty picture. It will one of the most divisive times in US history.

    ---------- Post added 5th Sep 2014 at 09:51 AM ----------

Those elections will very exciting. Both are following the footsteps of Sam Nunn and Jimmy Carter and if Michelle Nunn wins it could help dems keep the senate.
