Tonight on my college campus, our GSA (Gender and Sexuality Alliance) had over 100 people come to our first meeting! I am truly overwhelmed and excited for this year's group.
That sounds awesome. I'm a chicken and won't join any LGBT groups at my college. I'm out and all, but I'm afraid of rejection, so I'm avoiding the situation alltogether :/
First of all, the goal of the GSA is to be who you are. Second, you are never judged in the club. You really need to feel a part of the community and get yourself out there! Just give it a try and meet some new people.
I'm in the GSA at my school too. ^.^ We only have about 20-30 people though. But it's a lot like EC, lol.
The second week had at least fifty people, if not more! Still an amazing turnout considering there were only like twenty last year.
I'm really happy for you! That's Great! My school has a GSA. I would join but my own but my mom is totally against it, and isn't allowing me. Considering I'm not out yet, and she's kind of homophobic I can't exactly blame her right?
