Bear lovers?

Ah, that last line put an end to the confused look I had on my face whilst reading it imagining a bear/human relationship!

 

I do love bear body types I actually find it more appealing compared to those really well-built muscular men.

 

i do!! they're awesome and i do appeal to them a bit more often then others. i think i'm considered a bear myself, not too sure

 

I've never seen or heard a consistent clarification of what a Bear is.

I'm tall, solid/broad/a little over weight, hairy all over, have a beard (most of the time) and shaved or cropped hair on the head, but most guys who are attracted to bears aren't physically attracted to me (as far as I've experienced).

Is there a minimum age to be a bear?
Or a certain height to width ratio?
What's the difference between a cub and a bear?
Is there an "attitude" that comes with it?
Do you have to be interested in leather etc..?

 

i think that's an accurate description to what a bear looks like. i actually would want to become a bear when get older. a panda bear! ^__^

 

I could like anybody, within reason, so, sure. I could love a bear.

I must admit though, I'm very sad, that this wasn't about the animal!

 

I absolutely love bears... animal ones. My favorite is brown/grizzly. Somehow I find Panda (while they are not really belong to Ursus family) less appealing than their smaller cousins (Red Panda).

For human ones... depends on personality.

 

I like Otters; slimmer bears, than bears. Don't really like fat, but I do like hairy guys.

 

Yeah, kind of. Depends on their body shape more than anything. People of a stocky but somewhat muscular build are very hot. Kind of like the rugby player build, I guess - slightly overweight but not fat.

 

You sound like the ideal cub.

I consider myself a bear. Although I don't quite fit that role, it has to do more with a rejection of gay "ideal" slender, defined, smooth, smartly attired. Bears have a more relaxed attitude toward body and hair. As I understand it goes something like this:

Cubs - young bears
Bears - hairy, stout, bearded
Otters - slender, hairy bears or cubs
Wolves - older, bear hunters
Grizzly Bears - older, dominant bears
Polar Bears - white, sometimes fair-haired bears
Ginger Bears - red heads
Panda Bears - Asian Bears
Black Bear - African-American bears
Musclecubs & Musclebears - big, big gym rats
Chubs - softer, bigger bodied
Chasers - those attracted to bears

Bears usually adopt a kind of working class look: camo, jeans, tees, sports gear and a ubiquitous baseball cap; also cowboy gear, some leather. This being the case I'm the Polo Bear in the Ralph Lauren Dept. It embraces the more masculine traits not valid in the "gay ideal', however, it has an ideal inclusivity...age, size, hairiness, status are supposed to be overlooked in a broader vision of brotherhood and community or so I've read.

Almost forgot. "Woof" is a universal greeting of approval and interest.

I haven't met another bear irl but I heard they are the most loveable and nicest bunch <3

 

A little I guess. The kind of bears I like are the ones with a lot of sass but can also be masculine at certain times. Though I wouldn't want to be with one unless I really like them.

 

I do love bares especially like rugby players find them a massive turn on think it would be my ultimate fantasy to shower with a whole team:icon_redf

I find bears hot. I realised that I have the potential to be a panda if I can actually get fat and not shave body hair. Woof

 

I've come to appreciate bears a lot more over time.
