When people find out I'm gay I always get the same questions. Do you watch gay porn? Spit or swallow? Would you take it up the arse? Do you get these kind of questions and how do you answer?

I haven't had those questions asked of me in a while, but when they have been, I just answer honestly and matter of factly. If you treat it as a big embarrassing deal, people will treat it that way. If you treat it as nothing special, most will just lose interest and go on with their lives.

If someone asks something that you truly don't feel comfortable answering, just tell them it's none of their business. Be polite but firm about it.

I am bisexual and the most commonly asked annoying question is always along the lines of "does that mean you are going to get a boyfriend AND a girlfriend?" which is pretty straight-forward to answer unless you are poly as well, which I am.

"No. Well, yes but not because I am bi. Well, I mean partially. But just because I fulfil your stereotype it doesn't make it not a stereotype!"

One of my co-workers is super ignorant and assumes I want to hump every guy I see.

Not so much a question as my mom used to try and convince me that vaginas are gross. "It must be like licking snot," she said.

And yeah, I got the threesomes question, and the bi/pan/poly confusion, all questions related to sex. Strange as it may sound, it would be so refreshing to be asked something about dating another girl, or something like that. Or what it's like to walk in my shoes (very comfortable, I wear tennis shoes; very good for my flat feet). Something less creepy, you know?

"Are you sure that it's just a phase? You're *supposedly* gay since you like your dad more than your mom, right? Don't all gay guys adore their mothers?" :bang:

Yeah I know like one other poly-practicing bisexual... or is she pans-... doesn't matter, point is, it's not as common as I always hoped it would be lol
I get a lot of guys who are "curious" who want me to show them my junk and are none to subtle about it (especially since I am thin and have a liking of adorable clothes... I guess I fit some weird trap fantasy for them...)

I hate that so much. Sometimes people get weird because girls think that I'm automatically checking them out.

I want to be like... You're straight, does that mean you're into every guy you see?? No.

    ---------- Post added 15th Sep 2014 at 01:24 PM ----------

Even my MOM tried to pull that one on me. "Well, I don't understand how you can know for sure when you've never even really DATED a guy..."

Because I don't want to date a guy! Because I'm gay! :bang:

I've had all those discussions, but I'm kinda free with the information. A guy in a PSE class in highschool three years ago heard I was gay and I heard in the back of my head, "Ewwwww, I would never have sat beside him if I knew" "Yeah cos I wanted to suck your dick " ERRR NO. Teacher laughed so I got lucky there.

I've only come out to tolerant people so far, so luckily I haven't had to deal with any of these bizarre and intrusive questions but I'm sure they'll come. I suppose it won't be long before someone asks me if I'm a pitcher or a catcher.
