This is the new British film about the unlikely alliance between the Miners and an LGBT group to stand up against Thatcher during the 1980's miners' strike and Section 28. I didn't know this story, but I certainly remember the miners' strike and Section 28. The miners still march at the pride marches apparently, and the alliance caused the Labour party to push for gay rights. I haven't seen it yet but it's meant to be superb - and with humour!
