    If I listen to a song that has meaning to me, even if it comes on suddenly on the radio or on shuffle on my phone, it can take me back to that point in my life.

    Yes. This song always takes me back to when I was little.. I use to live in a beach town from ages 3-8. I adore this song. And love every memory of my time living where I did.     Yeah, especially if it's linked heavily to a specific event. Sometimes it's just a song I listened to a lot in a certain time in my life. I can usually remember the first time I heard a song too

    2008 I was at a house party 15 of us crammed into a tiny apartment with a max occupancy of like 6. It came on the radio and we all spontaneously broke into song. Until the manager started banging on the door and people dived out the window and hid in closets.

    I'll never have friends and as good a time as I did back then.

    I think it's awesome that music can do that ( and smell). I like how no one mentioned the bad times. Made me feel like all moments were nastalgic and nice for a second :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

    Both songs and smells have that effect on me.

    Whenever I smell Axe Africa I teleported back to the that small pension room in south, looking at the closet mirror and watching my (ex) boyfriend get ready.

    Whenever I hear Secret Land I travel down that road over looking to beach in Kalkan. Feeling the breeze, smelling the salt... makes me smile.
