Are there any guys that sing in choir here? I've been in choir for years ever since middle school and I was in madrigals last year. My school's choir is amazing and I love my choir director. He happens to be gay actually. I'm also in men's a Capella like a barbershop thing with a few other guys and it's great. I sing second tenor and I love jazz stuff, I've sang a few solos in concert. What voice part are you? Singing is cool guys :icon_bigg

When I was in High School(a few months ago. Graduated this year in May, haha~), I was in Choir. I've been in choir since the sixth grade and kept doing it till the end of my Senior year. I loved it. I am very close to my choir director. She's apart of my family, just like I am of hers.

I was a Tenor 1. It was an enjoyable time~. I love singing~. I just don't sing english songs really, haha. Anime openings is what I sing for the most part, haha~.

I recently quit my choir because the teachers that run it are rude and I honestly just didn't have time for it anymore.

I was in Choir at middle school but stopped when I went to high school because they didn't have one. I was tenor at the time, right now I'm not really sure.

I sing from foreign songs, to spanish(native language) and english. The genre is not important to me, although I prefer slow songs or songs with very emotional lyrics.

I was in a choir during school but sadly high school didn't had a choir. During a couple years I was in two choirs at once, the school's which took part in the first choral meeting in the city, and also in a church's choir.
I loved the experience and was pretty sad it couldn't continue in high school.
I was contralto, so I was always surrounded by the guys, but sometimes during rehearsals I'd be moved to other female or male registers aswell.

I was in a church choir when I was a kid, but not past the age of 13.

I was in the choir at my school until 10th grade when I couldn't fit it into my class schedule. And besides, my teacher's position was cut due to the budget for that year, so it's not like I had any strong ties with it after that.

I have been in choir one way or another since I was 9, so for almost 20 years, now. I currently sing for concert choir at my university and also for a small schola for church where we sing sacred polyphony and Gregorian chant. I am a mezzo-soprano for solos, but I have a pretty wide voice range, so I sing whatever is needed most in the choir I'm singing in. I've sang anything from tenor to soprano II

I've been in choirs since I was in Middle School... Kinda went from Alto I to II and then to Tenor... and now I'm in between Tenor and Bass. I love singing. Can't live a day without music.

I was in a choir for a long time growing up, but I haven't been in one for a long time. To tell you the truth, I miss it horribly.

Choir from 7th grade thru the end of senior year. I was a Bass II but now that my voice has settled down, I think I'm more of a Baritone.

As part of the junior high curriculum, everybody had chorus one period a week for a portion of the school year. You could then continue if you wanted on an elective basis. During the mandatory phase, I was taken aside by the director and asked to "Just move your lips"
My father had had a similar request in the children's choir at his church.

Well, there's a reason I go by the name Choirboy! (Actually several reasons, with one that doesn't really apply anymore.... :lol:slight_smile: I've been in assorted church and local choirs for years, with a decent clear tenor voice that blends in well without fading into nothing. I always tell people that if I ever get Alzheimers and start losing my marbles, the last thing to go will probably be the tenor line from the Hallalujah Chorus.

I joined a choir this time last year, it happens to be almost exclusively with gay men, including the choir Director.

I was baritone 2 last season, but got "demoted" to base 2 this year... :rolle:

Mostly German music this season, beautiful stuff, and complicated!
