Latipso should actually be spelled latipsoh. I guess that's a fairly big clue to anyone who hasn't figured this out yet!

I think it's kind of funny, not really creepy.

Huh, an interesting read. Didn't really strike me as creepy, but as a darkly humorous parody of how many people in the US live, and the various taboos we entertain, and the guilt people have about the body, sex and bodily functions.

  13. I looked it up because I had no idea what was going on, and apparently I'm supposed to do a thing to make it make sense? I'm honestly too scared to do the thing, judging by your guys' reactions.

It's honestly not that bad. Trust me. Do it.

Don't look at HuskyPup's reply, though...

Do you know what the thing you need to do is? Because once you know you really can't stop yourself from doing it, your brain will just do it.

    And, HuskyPup...

Am I the only one who got really creeped out the first time they read it?
I didn't understand it until after I read it and so their culture terrified me.
    Ima genius.

Maybe I don't count because I read a lot of horror stories, but I honestly just thought it was sad and... messed up.

Seriously, when you guys were saying it was creepy, I kept expecting a face to appear in the text or, like, have a secret message saying something akin to "KILL DIE PAIN TORTURE AGONY MORTIFICATION" BUT NO NOTHING

EDIT: THERE ARE THREE TYPES OF REACTIONS

    1. CREEPED OUT
    2. SAD
    3. HUMOURED

I don't get y'all but like i don't even get us so whatever i guess

This does sum up the American (backwards)

What's really sad is that since this was written, things have only gotten worse, in many ways, as far as bodily dissatisfaction goes, and all the products we're sold to make ourselves feel better about ourselves. It reminds me of how so much of advertising (which underwrites the mass media) is a way to convince us we're somehow deficient, and then sell us a bunch of crap to bring ourselves up to standards. Too fat? Diet pills, liposuction, surgery. Depressed? We have a pill for that. Can't get an erection? Pill for that, too. Hair turning grey? We have a dye. Sagging breasts? Have an injection. Think you smell bad? We have 10,000 things for that. Not popular? Wear these clothes. Not the envy of your neighbors? Buy this car. And on and on and on we are sold back our own self esteems, while being distanced from our own essence, and conditioned to think we are somehow inherently flawed.

  20. That's exactly what I was expecting, haha. I liked it pretty well, though; it was definitely amusing.
