What would you prefer to be called? Fruitcake or Gay

Gay is better, fruitcake just sounds offensive.

 

I'd rather be called 'Bisexual' or 'Homosexual', to be honest. But out of the two options, probably 'Gay'.

Fruitcake sounds like something you'd call a crazy person. And as you guys have stated, sounds offensive.

 

Being that I am not gay.. I would rather go with bisexual.. Fruitcake would be an offensive term to even a straight person cause it's not necessarily saying anything about sexuality, just that the person is weird or crazy.

 

I prefer to be called "gay", though I will also take "fannybandit".

 

I like to be called a lesbian, but between gay or fruitcake I would choose gay.

 

I prefer gay because that's what I am. I ain't no food

 

Fruitcake just sounds like a funny attempt at a gay slur. I'd much rather be called gay, and in the proper context.

 

Well out of the choices I would pick gay but in regards to what I want I'd prefer Bi or Bisexual.

 

So the Catholic Church is now trying to stop people from being gay by stopping even the word from being uttered??

Are you allowed to say "homosexual"?

Wow. Not even MY Catholic School is that bad. I'd much rather be called pan, but out of the choices? Gay. I'd be offended if someone called me fruit cake JUST because of my sexuality. Now if you take everything about me into consideration and call me a fruitcake, than sure, I can't really take offense that XD

 

Ew. The term "fruitcake" doesn't even make me think of gay people. Makes me think of actual fruitcake. Which is disgusting.

I'd rather be called gay than be compared to a nasty excuse for a pastry.

 

Gay. Fruitcake sounds annoying and has a bad connotation to it, saying that somehow I'm feminine and "fruity" and stuff :dry:.

 

My high school did the thing with the term too. I'm pretty sure that ,like my old school, yours is doing it because of kids using "gay" in a negative way .As for my answer : I hadn't really thought about labels much . I'm not sure how I feel about them . Once you get put into a category it becomes kinda finite . It's high school man, there's going to be labels and groups that everyone is lumped into whether it's cool or not

 

Um neither why would I want someone calling me by my orientation. God I hate those shallow people. And dam I thought my school was bad lol.

 

What about the word "dignity"? Is that something you'd get suspended over, too?

Honestly, in this situation, I'd go with "fruitcake". It just gives me a reason to wear a big-ass red bow, and when asked why I am, I'll tell them why.

Because I'm a fabulous fruitcake, baby! LOL!

 

If anyone called me fruitcake I'd probably laugh. A lot.
