    Hello,

Who else suffers from chronic laziness? I'm sure I'm not the only one. In fact I was going to post a long, witty paragraph but when it comes down to it, I really can't be bothered. I'll do it later.

What kind of things have you been putting off lately? And what inspires you to get out of the rut of procrastination? Personally I've been working on some applications to go back to University next year but the process is so complicated and laborious, and I easily get distracted...

If you're not feeling adequately inspired to be lazy, maybe this song will put you in the mood!

Actually, my schoolwork. I promised myself I would take it seriously these next four years, but, hah, I might as well pay a trip to the moon. I'll always be a lazy ass.

EDIT: I also have a lot of incomplete side projects.

Another candidate for the Fraternal Order of the Sloths!

Join us! But if you do it right away, we might suspect you're some kind of go-getter...just join, you know...eventually, when you get around to it...

At least you posted. That takes some effort! The reply button is a long way from the cursor, after all...

And wait, there's a Fraternal Order of the Sloths? Count me in, some time next month.

I've been putting off setting up a place where I recently moved to start working on my poetry and fiction again. There's not much space, and so much to find in boxes/flash drives/organize. What gets me motivated to write has to be comments and feedback. When I feel as if I'm not writing for at least a small audience, my motivation dwindles. I do write as a means of catharsis and expression, but perhaps more so as a means of connection and communication, of contact.

And yet I am guilty of laying in bed all day, sleeping in till way past noon on weekends, and then just reading in bed...though I do have periods where I'm also very hyper and anxious. Then, I just wanna be all crazy, and get into trouble, and forget about everything...so it alternates.

But when I am lazy, I'm really good at it.

And finishing sending the papers I need to send for school...

    And cleaning my house.

I'm not doing a very good job tbph.

I'm not as lazy as before, per se, because I actually got two jobs and have instilled more confidence in myself. What did I accomplish today? Nothing, since I had the day off. Did I regret it? Not at all...

Somebody once asked what laziness was to me, and I told them, when taking a shower becomes a chore.

I've been slacking off, a bit, when it comes to staying active. With the warm weather going, the pool has been closed up, and I find it harder, to want to do more activities, because I'm not able to dive into a pool, when it's colder. I could, I suppose, but it won't feel very good! Lol.

I've been procrastinating on a few requests. Mostly just responding to individuals, or reading materials.

As for remedying laziness, that's easy. If you don't make any obligations, you won't be expected to do anything.

    As for remedying procrastination...

    I'll do that later.

I'm here. And I was always going to ask about the Order of Sloths, I just hadn't gotten around to it yet.

People sitting next to me, doing homework with me: "When I'm around you I don't want to make my homework! Let's relax."

So uh.. Guess I have a relaxing vibe? And yeah I procrastinate. Usually make and learn my homework 2 days before a test.

I don't suffer from it, I enjoy every minute of it...

...and that's why I still haven't finished (read started) my degree.
