you watch straight porn? This is mostly directed to just gay guys (because, well, bi guys just don't count-- sry!) but do any of you gay guys ever get off on straight pornography, and why? I'm just curious because I was just wondering what you all think about gay guys who think straight sex is hot...
as for me, I think straight sex is hot if there's a cute guy in it. Lesbian sex, for me at least, does nothing nor does just looking at something like Playboy... (is that even considered porn anymore? )

    Your thoughts?

Ok, generalizations are usually false (keep that in mind for algebra tests!).

Sometimes I get off at straight porn... Lesbians... nope, but I can see why some people like it.

Anyway, sometimes I don't even get off at gay porn... well... that's not very common, but it happens from time to time...

Definetly. I actually enjoy it sometimes. Let's just say that the 'equipment' I like is still there either way.

Ahh, you know, I really am not sure where i stand on this one. To the best of my experiance, I'm not really into girls. I've considered myself bi, but I'm doubting that. The last time I remember getting off from just watching girls i was watching porn with another guy. Awkward situation, but he's cute, what can i say.

I'm not into straight porn at all because the women depicted in straight (or what little I've seen) are really disgusting if you ask me. I find a lot of women attractive but not the ones who generally populate straight porn.

I can, however, enjoy a lot of heterosexual romance in movies when the guy is hot. (Like, the only good part about Star Wars Ep. 3 was the shirtless shots of Anakin at the beginning of the movie.) It gets tiresome having to put myself in the girl's role again and again, though.

The best is two guys kissing. I love seeing two guys kiss.

I used to watch a lot of straight porn (before I discovered my sexuality) but I was always watching the guys. Soon after I found gay porn, and well I'm sure you can guess which i prefered.

I agree with Joeyconnick though, two guys kissing is the best. Did anyone see the Desperate Housewives episode where the two guys kissed in the pool? I'm not into the show so I didnt see it, but I heard it was hot.

I can tell you what goes through my family's head... we were watching SNL at my grandmother's house and there was a segment where two guys jokingly kissed and my grandmother declared, "Ugh. It's enough to make you want to vomit. It should just all be illegal! That's what I say!" and the rest of the family readily agreed... I just sat there.

Yeah, on a lighter note... I just got back from dinner and this was the first time I've been tempted to put my cell number on the check because our waiter was HOT  . And, of course, there's me, (subtle like a freight train) just staring at him every time he came by... My gaydar went off when he first waited on us but when I asked my friends what they thought, they weren't so sure he was gay... (Either that, or because they're all girls, they still wanted to cling to hope that he was straight  ) Oh well, at least I got excellent eye candy for the evening; for whatever reason, I think him serving us made the food taste better! :icon_lol:

Yea, I was at Joe's crab shack once and there was this hot waiter there. He wasnt waiting on us, but he was right around us, and the best part was that every once and a while all of the waiters got together and danced.

On the point of other's thoughts, both of my parents do know about me, but it isnt really discussed, and since they've known, I havent heard a single dis to anything homosexual. Now, I've always seen my stepdad as very anti-homosexual, so I really didnt want him to know. My mom felt like she had to talk about it to him though, so he ended up knowing, but i guess that the first thing he said was "I want him to know that I'd alwas accept him!" It was pretty nice hearing that (indirectly through my mom). He actualy doesnt know that I know that he knows. But the plan is that when less things are going on, my mom will agree to tell him that I know that he knows about me, and to further confuse the situation, I will, of course, know that he knows that I know that he knows about me. Ok, a little off subject, but i love telling that story.

Haha. Doesn't matter if it's a lil off-topic, that's a great story. I think it's awesome that even though you suspected that your stepdad is/was "anti-homosexual" (really, I don't know what that means... that's kinda like being anti-[Insert Racial/Ethnic Group Here], you can't make stop people being who they are... haha, just a lil interjection) but your family still loves you no matter what. I think it's important for people to know that most people's family's are not like Alan Keyes' family...

    -CK

*for those of you who don't know about Alan Keyes, he's an arch-conservative (I stopped myself from using the adjective "uber") Republican who, lucky for me, is able to disgrace my home by being from my town in Maryland. He tried running for President in 2000, and for Senate in 2004. (I'm telling you, I don't know how Maryland could produce such a vile monument to hate that is Alan Keyes... he was a mistake, I assure you).

Anyway, this guy rants on and on about how homosexuality is a choice and how all homosexuals are just sinful hedonists, blah blah blah and then his daughter came out as a lesbian. So what does her oh-so-loving and compassionate father do? He cuts her off completely. Excuse mon Francais, but what an @$$hole. I think it's important that people know that that kind of story is surely an extreme and that most of the stories I've heard about from people coming out to their family have been, on the whole, positive. (Thank God) Even when it came out that Vice President Cheney's daughter, Mary, is a lesbian, the Cheneys stood by and defended their daughter, like parents should. (And some say Mary Cheney's even had a hand in moderating her dad's view on homosexuals and gay rights :eusa_danc )

Wow, I actually never heard that story, but I didnt read your post long enough to get the story, i guess I'm too geek. I immediately jumped off onto google to look it up. Oops! anyways, how horrible! I read that one of his points was that being gay is selfish! Ding ding ding! I think we have actually found the most selfish person alive! This guy cut off his daughter because she challenged his political basis! And if this can tie this back into the post, I think that if i was put into this situation, I'd have no problem rebelling and still considering myself gay! Maya Keyes must be a very strong person, and a very good speaker considering she is now leading speaches against her father's point of view.

Well, duh. And why shouldn't you (or any of us, for that matter! LOL) I mean, it's who we are, and if being who we are means we have to "rebel" against our parents' myopic view of the world, then so be it. (I'd just make sure that you have a friend you can stay with in case your plan backfires...)

That she is, an excellent speaker. I think Pride Alliance (our GLBTQ group on campus) is trying (or should try) to get her to come and speak on campus. Since she's come out, she's been very involved with GBLTQ equality and rights movement... I definitely think she'd be worth listening to. She's also trying to get a scholarship fund set up for GLBTQ students as well. I have to be honest, when I first heard about it, I was a little mad because my thinking is, "Why should there be a scholarship fund just because you happen to GLBTQ???" but then I found out that the scholarship is specifically supposed to be for kids who have been cut off by their families (emotionally and financially) to help people out who are on their own because their families don't "approve" of them. While I still think that all people should be helped if they have a financial need to go to school, the idea of scholarship isn't the craziest thing I've heard of... haha... what do you think? (As a side note, since this convo is kinda important, maybe it should be moved out of the porn thread and made into it's own. LOL *shrug* Oh well!

P.S. I was watching American Idol while watching this (yes, I know don't start. I'm addicted! It's not my fault, alright?!? Haha :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:) and I am so glad Carrie won... I really wanted Vonzel (sp?) to win but alas...

But did they agree because they really agree with that point of view, or did they agree to avoid getting into a heated discussion about it with her?

Perhaps you could ask your mum quietly whether she really agrees with what grandmother said?

Oh yeah, my mom's not the problem. She doesn't really have anything against gay people (she's had gay coworkers, employees, clients, bosses and she loved to go out with them and stuff), but even so, she still makes derogatory comments about gay people, which I really don't get.

Really, it's my dad and especially my brother who are the complete homophobes.

As for my family, I know we just humor my grandmother a lot of the time, but when it comes to my aunts and uncles, etc. they're hardcore against homosexuality... not like I really care what my extended family thinks about me. Haha.
