    Sounds like france is heading towards dictatorship. A beautiful quote comes to mind:
    "Any government that would sacrifice a little freedom for a little security would deserve none and lose both"

    So do I. But if indeed you (and I, too) are right, It'll probably work out well in the end. There's too much media around nowadays for such things to go unnoticed.

    I would feel scared and worried knowing that this could happen. Who knows...in 10 years it might be in the US and all websites accessed by home computers at home could be tracked!

    I don't think france qould ever become a dictatorship. they've always strived for freedom as much as americans.

    ...but who controls the Media? The head of the Bouygues group, who control
    the TV station TF1, is best-buddies with Sarko(zy). I think Sarkozy went to
    his child's christening or something. I think that might have had something
    to do with the outcome of the 2007 elections.

    In class we talked about the media becoming a "4th branch of government".
    I definetely think it needs to be better regulated.
